Who is mako?

Ive been watching "the tale of ba sing se" at iroh's part. He crying at front of the picture of someone. And there is a text: "in honor of mako". Who is mako?

Mako is the actor who played Uncle Iroh in seasons 1&2.

Mako was Iroh's first voice actor. He died during the series' run and they got a new voice actor for Iroh for season three.

The picture is of Luten, Iroh's son who died during the siege of Ba Sing Se. After Luten's death Iroh abandoned the seige and returned home.
Mako was actor Makoto Iwamatsu who died July 2006. He performed the voice 연기 of Iroh.

That episode was so sad. Iroh goes around helping people and stuff and thenit show that it was his dead sons birthday sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad

That was really depressing. They even choose a depressing song. 'Leaves the Vine' I think its called. It is such a sad song even for a depression moment.
