it wasn't as hyped no twists or turns just mainly jack and chloe. i didn't hate the finale just dissapointed in it.

I liked what Jack said to Chloe about how when she first came to work, he never expected her to always be there for him. It was a very powerful and heartfelt speech. I also really liked Dalia Hassan in the finale. The actress did a fantastic job at conveying her utter disgust and shock at finding out who was involved in her husband's murder. I'm glad that President Taylor redeemed herself because I was beginning to dislike her! Lastly, I'm glad that Logan finally got his comeuppance (I knew he'd take the coward's way out!)

was it me or was jack saying a finale farewell to her,and that he didn't need her anymore?

Well I dont think the point of the finale was to have twists and turns. It was supposed to sort of tie everything up. Jack was saying good bye to Chloe because he was going back into hiding, kind of like at the end of season 4. It's not that he didnt "need" her it was just time for them to go their separate ways.

I was so happy that Taylor redeemed herself! She became one of my favorite characters by the middle of season 8 and seeing her do those things was so upsetting! I knew she would crack...

Talk about heartbreaking. I bawled like a baby.
