Mount Justice, 3:59 a.m.
Fin grabbed her backpack and a thick coat. She changed into snow friendly civies, including long pants and a pair of sunglasses that she could later use for goggles. Biting her lip, she made her desicion. Against all orders-
She was going to find Nathan.
She quietly snuck out of her room and slid the door shut, sneaking out to the kitchen. Opening the cabinets, she grabbed anything she needed- cans of food, water, and even a pan. She concluded to grab some wood to keep a 불, 화재 going, probably a blanket for if- no, when she found Nathan. She would find him. She had to. For... she stopped for a second. Who was she doing this for? The team? Or...
"Fin?" "What are 당신 doing?" Two voices came from behind her, and she turned. Aisling and Delta were standing there, sleepy and bed-headed. Aisling, as tired as she seemed, was watching Fin intensely with her green-blue eyes, and Delta was staring at the backpack. "Oh," she murmured. "I see."
"Don't 당신 dare tell! I'm in enough trouble with the team already, I don't need this desperate against order rescue on my back as well!" Fin pleaded, setting the backpack down gentley on the floor. "I swear to god, I won't do it! Just don't tell!"
Delta shook her head, confused. "Tell?" she asked, barely covering her sniggers, "Why would we tell?"
"You should go!" Aisling grinned.
"You're not... going to..." Fin struggled and eventually discarded the subject. "We need him on the team, and since no one can stand the cold like me, I'm doing it."
Delta smiled. "Batman'll kill 당신 when 당신 get back."
Fin grinned widely. "And look at how much I care."
Aisling gave Fin a pair of com links. "Talk to us whenever 당신 need. The trackers are disabled, and two together get a better reception." She gave a shy smile. "Good luck."
Fin hugged the both of them and picked the pack up. Placing a silencing shield around the zeta beam's speaker, she stepped in, and dissapeared in a glowing yellow light, not knowing when she'd see them again.

Somewhere in the Arctic, 4:49 a.m.
Nathan curled up on the rocky floor of the dark cave, protected from the snow for now. He'd found a piece of rock chipped off from the edges of the cavern and had somehow created a spark that had ignited into a flame. How it was sustaining, well, he didn't know. But it was keeping him warm, and for that he was grateful.
It suddenly dawned on him that he felt immensely drained, nearly useless. His 심장 wasn't beating as fast as usuall. Pushing himself up, he went to find a pool of ice, to see what was wrong. What he saw shocked him: his hair had turned to it's orginal mocha hue, a sign of no powers.
He sighed, and realized with a jolt he was in a cave. A cave... and the last person he'd seen was the Batman's daughter. This small fact slightly amused him, but amusement turned to worry. "Fin..." he murmured. "Why can't 당신 see past what I've done? Why can't 당신 see that I 사랑 you?"
