Thylacine 질문

Are there any Thylacine in captivity?

Cuz 당신 would think that they would be in zoo's so they could help the population grow.
But that is just my opion.=)

Thanks for youre interest "Demon_wolf",. 당신 have to remember that all this happened in the 1930s, zoos were very different to what they are today, no 더 많이 than tiny prisons to display 동물 for the public. A small number were shipped overseas, but to my knowledge none were breeding incaptivity.
Benjamin was the last seen in captivity 또는 the wild for that matter. A few blurry photographs & footprints have surfaced since then but they look alot like Photographs of BigFoot 또는 the Lockness Monster, & are probably fakes, who knows.
It is strange that now Tasmania uses the Thylacine on their 코트 of Arms, probably the only place to have an extinct animal on their flags & emblems. There is so much we don't know about these animals, like what was the end of their tail for, if 당신 look at a few of the paintings, 당신 will see a small indentation at the end of their tails, this opened up, like a 꽃 또는 cone, but what this was for, we may never know.
I just hope that this site & others like it, help other 동물 to survive & raises awareness about how fragile & beautiful our creatures, carnivorous & herbivours alike, realy are.
We really must look after our native animals. I am glad to see peoples attitudes changing, people like 당신 around who are helping the Wild 동물 of our planets stay free & 안전한, 안전 in their natural enviroment.
Thanks for all your feedback.
I will try to find some footage (film) of the Tylacines, in the 다음 few days, to ad to this site, some really amazing stuff was shot of captive 동물 before the end came.
As for DNA, well there is one foetus, that has DNA that may be usable & all hope is pinned on this little girl, who may yet see the light of 일 & a better world to live in, lets hope so!

It is sad to here that these beautiful 동물 were hunted to extinction. I don't get how people can do that. Like how would we like it if we the people were the "animals" and the thylacine 또는 늑대 were the "people" and they hunted us to extinction. Yeah we would not like it too much. But at least there are people who are trying to make a difference, they deserve some credit. so here is my credit to you. "It was a very good thing that 당신 put this spot together showing that in an instant anything can disappear. I'm glad there are people like 당신 Avatarzan. 당신 are a good caring person." =D

the government put a bounty on their heads, 또는 (I think) 30cents a tail, to protect 양 farmers from these animals, that were probably as scared of us as we were of them. the 사진 of the Thylacine with a chicken in his mouth is a mock to make the farmers feel threatened, though a chicken in a cage would be a tempting treat for any meat eating animal, though all the facts seem to point to them prefering native prey, rather than sheep. possibly it was the sound of the Tasmanian Devils(a scavenger, also endangered now)that scared them. so many questions, all asked 70yrs too late, well maybe some other animal species will benifit from this information & the loss of this amazing & beautiful animal!
