Why does everyone hate Bonnie? I want an actual answer of why 당신 dislike her, not that she's annoying 또는 stupid.

I don't want to be rude but the wording of this 질문 is unfair. It's like you're posing a non-question as 당신 take away the very reasons people DO dislike the character. 당신 described in your words exactly why I do not like her so I don't know what answer you're truly looking for here.

There is no "one scene/moment" that makes me feel this way, it is a compilation of them all plus her storyline that turns me off. She DOES bore me and I DO find her annoying. (I don't care if she's a witch - just 의해 giving her special powers and giving her some 수퍼내츄럴 history, does NOT make her instantly interesting to watch. Not in my opinion.)

In the books, I find that she whines and cries A LOT and on the show, she is just too lacklustre (for lack of a better term) to be worth becoming invested in.

And I also have to say that I do not like her chemistry with any of the other actors on the show thus far (I'm talking about Nina, Ian 또는 Paul *shrug*) And, no, this is not because I am a DE shipper. I personally just don't think she bounces well off of ANY of them. To be clear here, though, it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the actress herself, it just so happens that sometimes on shows certain actors don't spark anything for others (ie. chemistry) and that is what *I* find with KG.

If in the future they were to introduce a new character who makes her fun to watch, I'm open to it but it has not happened yet, imo. Sorry for having to disagree.

I actually just don't like her attitude on the show, I didn't read the books. I was just bored and watched the whole show until now recently. I watch this show because of the interest I had to see Ian Somerhalder being better at something than he was in 로스트 and also because I think Nina Dobrev is looking hot.

The point is... I don't like bonnie at all, her confident and arrogant attitude, always refering to her "Grams" like this Grams knew everything about life. She got high power too fast then she became the anchor... As I don't like Jeremy either, they are just young arrogant people who don't know shit and got too much power into their hands. Most likely why I don't like Caroline either, she's telling to people 100 years older than her what to do and things like "I'm not gonna let you". I'm sitting at 집 being like "STFU 암캐, 암 캐 and please get on with the story". I don't like their douchebag taste to always want to party, drink and cheer to that, watch dance with the stars and whatever the girly crap that I hate about girls of today. Characters like Bonnie can just make girls of today feel like they are right to be as they are, maybe I'm old fashioned but this is what I hate about Bonnie, she is nothing 더 많이 than a constant reminder that she is just a stupid girl with nothing 더 많이 special than her magical powers.

Bonnie is whiny and judgemental. She doesnt care about anyone but herself, and thinks shes higher than just cause shes a witch. Everything she does is abnoxious as she has no real conections with anyone. A specific example is at the beginning when caroline turns to a vampire. Caroline had so much shit and had to deal with her best friend hating her for no reason. It wasnt her choice. Bonnie is 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 a negative person and idk why elana always is her friend

I dont hate bonnie. I just dislike the bonnie in the show. In the books, Bonnie was closer to Elena and 더 많이 of a best friend, but i dont feel that Bonnie is a good friend to Elena at all and feel that she is ignorant. I really dont hate her though, shes just not my 가장 좋아하는 character.

I 사랑 Bonnie, are 당신 kidding me???? She's my 가장 좋아하는 character out of the girls!!! I especially 사랑 her with Damon!!!:D

I don't like her in the books. Because in Nightfall she kissed Damon(I'm a Delena fan), and she has some chances to be with him in the end. But I don't have nothing against her in the show, I think she's a very good friend to Elena. It's just competition, I know it's ridiculous but ... :)

I only dislike Bonnie in the show. I probably wouldn't except that she was my 가장 좋아하는 in the book, and she is so different in the show.

I hate Bonnie in the 책 and on the show alike, because:
books: she's such a scary cat, cry baby and I just don't like her perspection on things and to make it worse totally on 사랑 with Damon (and I hate that fact cuz as u can see 의해 my 아이콘 I am a Delena fan.).
TV show; this one I have no reason. I just dont like her. She's annoying (sorry but it's true). And I didn't like he in the begging but now I feel really sorry for her, cuz of grams and all. But I still don't like her.
I like her 더 많이 in the show than is the 책 thought.

I only liked her a little in the beginning. She annoyed me the first two episodes of season 2, because of the way she acted towards Damon. But after that I have started to really like her a lot. I understand her better now.

I haven't read the books.

In the series just comes off as WAY too melodramatic. She starts hating stephen with no real reason other than 'he is a vampire', and unlike other characters (say, uncle john), that grew up learning to hate vampires. She didn't. She just hates him because.... I don't get it. And when someone hates someone for no good reason. I start to hate them as well >.>.

Then there is the crying for every little thing. Once she was abducted 의해 Claus too take away the spell that bound all 5 originals together. She did JUST that, nothing bad happened. Yet she was crying for ages after that.

Then there is the part where she is always running. She's never talking 100% openly with anyone. She's never honestly 'IN'. Even all the hate she has for Deman because she 'turned' her mother. Can't she compreend he did that to save her best friend. The one that was ready to die to save HER.

I mean, bonney comes off as a selfish 암캐, 암 캐 that can't see the point of view of others. Honestly, even Claus is 더 많이 likeable than her >.>.

There are several instances where Bonnie, in my terms, has screwed up. In the episode with the vampire weapon device, Bonnie decided that her hatred for 뱀파이어 was 더 많이 important than her best friend when she faked a spell to perhaps 'get rid of' its power. Because of that hatred, everyone was put in harms way. Damon was caught, and he almost died. Anna was also captured and killed in the process. Sure, I know that some of 당신 particularly don't like Damon (I like him 의해 the way not that it matters) and were happy to see Anna die, but that wasn't the only example of a reason to perhaps dislike her. I am just giving 당신 a few of the reasons why some would seem to hate her. And I fully understand that Bonnie, as a character, has had a lot bad things happen to her because of her interference with the supernatural, but some of her actions seem a little 'oh poor pity me' in the eyes of some viewers. She basically blames 뱀파이어 for all that has happened, but yet, she still happy to help at times. Which, I (again not like it matters) think that is kinda awesome. But after helping them it is almost like she blames them for her decision to help when everything goes bad for her. (again to the eyes of some viewers) 당신 also have to consider that lots of people differ for there fave character in tvd, so I would not say that they hate her. They perhaps don't agree with all her actions 또는 opinions because their are a lot of 뱀파이어 on tvd. Perhaps they disagree with her earlier statement about the 뱀파이어 because of their fave character being one. And we all know that not everyone is going to be happy about the fact that Elena won't be able to wake up until Bonnie dies. Maybe said people that hate Bonnie hate her because they chose her life over Elena's. Although some dislike her, Bonnie is a powerful female character on tvd, and she is a true example of courage on the show. She is always exhibiting one true message: No matter the issue 또는 the circumstance, never be afraid to stand your ground!

Bonnie is a selfish character. She's so dramatic and cries all the time. She is very boring for me to watch. She is super annoying, always being self righteous. She always does things to benefit herself but says she's doing it for everyone else. Then when things don't go as planned she gets mad at everyone and cries. She blames her 프렌즈 for every bad thing in her life. I get that sometimes her storyline sucks and bad things happen to her character but she should know what she's getting into every time she helps. She always cries for every little thing. I don't like that she has to be baby sat. She keeps people out of the loop and goes off with her own plan then gets mad that she had to do it herself and no one helped her.
When Jeremy died all she though about was herself. She cried the whole time and not once thought about Elena. I get that Elena's humanity was turned off but they are best friends. Bonnie should've had the slightest consideration for Elena. Aside from that is that Bonnie acted that way before she saw how Elena was 연기 without humanity.
Bonnie got mad at Elena when her mom became a vampire. How was that Elena's fault. Yes they were helping her but again Bonnie should expect the worst when she goes in to help. They'e 뱀파이어 for crying out loud! 당신 shouldn't expect everyone to walk away unharmed. It sucks that your mom is a vampire but it isn't Elena's fault.
All in all Bonnie just irritates me to no end. She always has the same stupid expression on her face. Always the same emotion portrayed. Every time she appears on screen I count how long it is until she cries.

I don't hate Bonnie. There are moments in the show where she got on my nerves like when she left Damon in Klaus' mansion when he was torturing him and she didn't even help just walked 의해 him like she didn't care. But other than that I don't really have an issue with her.

I probably should just ignore this 질문 because personally I 사랑 Bonnie. She's my 가장 좋아하는 character in TVD, and there is very little bad I can say about her. She has plenty of flaws, but, in my opinion, they make her a better character. The only thing I didn't like about her personality was her sacrificial, "your life is 더 많이 important than mine so I'll just die so that 당신 can live and be happy and whatnot" over-the-top selflessness-- she really needed put herself first for once. But her time in 1994 did good for her; she's started thinking of herself, finally. Because I swear, if Kai had linked Elena and Bonnie back in Season 1-5, Bonnie probably would have killed herself just so that Elena could live happily ever after with the Salvatore brothers.

But yeah, I 사랑 her. She's selfless, brave, just and badass. One of my very 가장 좋아하는 characters on TV. <3

I think Bonnie is one of the best characters on the show, she is in my 상단, 맨 위로 five 가장 좋아하는 characters.

Cause so comes across as a completely self-righteous 암캐, 암 캐 most of the time. She was cool in the beginning but after her Gramms died she got up on one hell of a high horse. She consistently blames others for things she is just as responsible for, the device getting people she cares about hurt 또는 conniving Damon to give Caroline blood then blaming Damon when she turns. She acts like she is such a good character while doing nothing but brooding and whining 또는 at most throwing a witchy temper tantrum while everyone else is trying to solve the real problems. Now to be fair I am on Season 2 so here's hoping she gets better.

ha! well I'm not suppose tomsay that........I dont lkke her at all because she tried to kill elena in part 4 and then she got mean yeah but i was just 읽기 the book right now that she goes with Elena and Damon including Meredith to the dark dimension but in the movie its totally changed! in the book Bonnie has a sweet character whereas in the movie after part 4 she has a negative character and btw I have skipped part 1 2 3 of the book and the movie and haven't read after part 4 infact I haven't completed it yet!

She is not my favrouite but I don't hate her because to some extent I can identify with her. There are many traits of mine which matches wid the character of Bonnie. According to me Bonnie is one of the most selfless, independent and strong lady of TVD. But the problem lies in the fact that despite her being the most important character in the show she don't have her own exclusive storyline . Its like she work side 의해 side to the leads to solve their problem and thats's it. Besides that, writers need to spice up her character a little bit. Her constant selfless and strong personality make her a sorted and one way character. There should be a potential 사랑 interest/story for Bonnie to whom she can open her personality. I had high expectation from Bonkai but all gone to drains.

Well Bonnie is a Hypercritical Character. I mean. She does not forgive KAI. While Elena and the others see he is good in parts. Damon was just like Kai. Damon and Stephan were both killers and evil. And when they showed good they were forgiven. But when Kai does it she hates him and never forgives him. Just because it was towards herself. I hate people who cant forgive anyone in real life. And this really got me.

I actually liked Bonnie at first. She is a good friend to Elena (better than she deserves) and cared lots about her Grams (which is heartening to see with all the disregard her 프렌즈 put on their family), but along the way she turned into this power hungry girl that thinks she is morally superior to everyone around her and unjustly places blame for her own actions and mistakes on those that don't deserve it instead of owning up to her own mistakes. She's a racist-speciesist, whatever Du want to call it. All witches I have seen so far are. Even so I tried to be understanding, she is a girl that 로스트 her grandmother, has shitty 프렌즈 and had her throat ripped out Von Damon, so even when she behaved in a matter I disapproved of I didn't start hating on her, just feeling annoyed and wanting to 헤로인 her around a little bit. The thing that really set me off was her setting Damon on 불, 화재 for something that was HER fault. (Or at least she shares Mehr of the responsibility). She was the one that decided to not deactivate the device, she was the one that decided Damon should feed Caroline vampire blood (and was quite the ungrateful 암캐, 암 캐 about it) and she was the one who let it accidentally slip to Katherine that Caroline had been fed Damon's blood and forgot to tell anyone about that little mishap. HOW exactly is it Damon's fault Caroline killed someone as a vampire? The tomb 뱀파이어 would have been set free Von Anna either way. Bonnie was the one who decided to help Damon get Katherine, she can't just turn around and suddenly decide that whatever unwanted side effects her choices have, have nothing to do with her actions! She just pisses me off so fricking much. I just watched another episode where her choices and actions backfire spectacularly (Vampire Caroline killing a dude) and she decides to take absolutely no responsibility and instead kill off Damon, because she hates him and needs to blame someone else for this since she can't 곰 to carry that responsibility on her shoulders. It's her Grams all over again. Nobody wanted her grams to die and everyone's actions (including Bonnie's) led to her death, but of course Bonnie can't deal so she becomes a vampire racist.

I don't like Bonnie because she always seems to blame other people for things they did to save others just because it effects her. Like when she was angry at Stefan and Damon for her grandma dying when she asked her to do the spell. She still found a way to blame them for something that is no ones fault really. As well as when she was angry at Damon for turning her mother when he was forced to and it was to dave her best friend. At least in this way, everyone was still alive (kinda). She is the one that turned Alaric but that wasn't her fault even though it was very similar to other things she blamed others for. And Damon saved her multiple times and even while she was angry at him.

She also thinks she has 더 많이 power than she does. Like when she first found out she was a witch and tried to fight Damon and Stefan like she was the master. She thinks she is better than everyone else. That is why I don't like her. It's not a race thing 또는 a gender thing, I just don't like her character.

alright, Bonnie in the show is just judgemental for no reason. In the book Bonnie is a really great and cool character, but the show ruined that. Like they basically changed her, and her opinions completely

In the TV series, I personally do not like bonnie because I feel like she is always getting in the way and 연기 like she knows everything when she doesn't. If she doesn't agree with a plan that's about to happen she just refuses to do it even though she doesn't know the whole story.

Not only is Bonnie a self righteous and arrogant character who blames others for her own actions but she also causes a lot of people to be harmed 또는 die herself and doesn’t acknowledge it. Throughout the show this happens repeatedly, she only acts in her own self interests. When Stefan is in ripper mode and kills Enzo she could have snapped his neck but instead gives him the cure which is incredibly vindictive because she knows he’s her best 프렌즈 brother and her other best 프렌즈 fiancé. She simply doesn’t care and while I understand she was hurt 의해 what he had done it doesn’t justify it for me as she knew his humanity was off at the time which doesn’t excuse what he did but she sentenced him to death and that effected Damon and Caroline whom she’s supposed to 사랑 and care about. When she calls Stefan with her plan to kill Katherine it’s a cut scene but obviously her plan was for Stefan to die. She knew his humanity was back and that he had just married her best friend yet she basically asked him to die because him being human and not getting to live forever with Caroline just wasn’t good enough for selfish 나귀, 엉덩이 Bonnie. She had to ask him to die. This is obvious when Stefan tells Damon he has to do this for “Bonnie and Enzo” she obviously played on his guilt for him to sacrifice himself leaving behind Caroline. Bonnie didn’t get her happy ending and so she had to ruin Caroline’s and Stefan’s and also in many ways hurt Damon and Elena’s because they both loved Stefan dearly. She also made her jealousy of Caroline known in an earlier episode where she tells her she can’t stand watching Caroline have it all, fiancé and kids and happiness. Caroline was so sympathetic but in the end Bonnie made sure she ruined it all for Caroline. If 당신 re-watch the show it’s really terrible how Bonnie acted throughout. She’s just so selfish, she doesn’t de-spell the device and Anna and Tyler’s dad die, she ignores Caroline for being a vampire when she insisted to Elena that Damon give her vampire blood to heal her in the first place. She gets mad at Damon for turning her Mom but he did it to save her life. She then after hating 뱀파이어 for multiple seasons ends up with Enzo. She’s a hypocritical self righteous judgmental little bitch. That’s my two cents. Re-watch and decide for yourself!
