I'd give him a ten. He's a very deep and dynamic character and Rick's 글쓰기 portrays him in a way 당신 can empathize with him as if he were a real person. Not all the thing's he's gone through may be things we experience in the real world, but his emotions certainly are. Anger, confusion, denial, anxiety, fear, hatred and loneliness. He's got emotions, dreams, and a solid personality that if 당신 read a clip of the 책 without names 당신 would be able to tell who's talking. And at the end of the day, despite all the pain, anger and the times when you're sitting on the edge of your 좌석 screaming at your book "no dON'T 당신 DARE DIE ON ME RICK WHY ARE 당신 DOING THIS TO THEM! WHY ARE 당신 DOING THIS TO ME?", 당신 realize he didn't deserve this pain. He was a beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world, to pure. Then he got put in a hotel for 75 years with his sister, a bunch of other stuff happened, 당신 think one girl dissapeared? WaiT THAT WAS ANNABETH OH GODS, they went to camp, stuff happened, people went to save the 일 but his sister didnt come back BECAUSE SHE DIED, he blamed it on the guy he had a crush on (he did get him to promise to keep her safe, after all) and discovered he's the son of the god of the 언더월드 and no one will ever accept him because he's scary, he smells like death, and he doesn't belong in this century (Not to mention he's gay, and that would not sit well in the 1930's. Not in the slightest. I guess we could thank the fates hes in the lovely time period called the 21st century where the average person won't kill 당신 on sight if you're anything but cisgender heterosexual heteroromantic). Couldn't get anymore tragic than that. Even Shakespeare himself couldn't 상단, 맨 위로 that. (Also, his mother was killed 의해 his godly uncle. He and his sister were supposed to die when that happened too. This kid just can't catch a break) But yeah, 10/10 character. He's hecka cash money.
