Time travel. It's a great ability to use, if it were physically possible. People and scientists have classified time travel as solely science fiction. But what if I told 당신 that it wasn't all that impossible? What if I told 당신 that time travel is a reality?
Welcome to class. 상추, 상 추 begin!
Firstly, there may be someone who has already explained, 또는 tried to, time travel. I, on the other hand, will explain time travel with a different method: using science.
This is the realm of Quantum Physics: where everything is possible, just not likely. How does Quantum Physics work? Allow me to splain.
Place your finger on a key. Now think: what's stopping the atoms of your finger to not collide with the atoms of the key you're supposed to be pressing but aren't? Electromagnetism. This is part of Einstein's theory of General Relativity, which is a sort of rule book for the world of the large. However, if 당신 go down to the atomic level, General Relativity no longer applies. This is when Quantum Physics takes over.
Quantum Physics isn't a rule book. 당신 can say it's the slot machine of science. It's always a game of chance and probabilities when we enter the realm of Quantum Physics. Now, Quantum Physics states that your hand can, indeed go through the keyboard. However, you'd have to be pressing down on it for almost an eternity before 당신 stand a reasonable chance of passing through. On 상단, 맨 위로 of that, the chance of not causing nuclear fusion, and the chance of surviving if nuclear fusion occured. It's all a game of chance.
Now, back to the orihinal topic. In the 슈퍼맨 comic books, 슈퍼맨 was able to turn back time 의해 flying around Earth against it rotation so fast, that the Earth began spinning against it's rotation. Normally, this would only affect time zones, but the norm was pissed on, and thrown out the window. Superman, the luckiest S.O.B alive, according to Quantum Physics, managed to turn back the clock of time. Then, he flew with Earth's rotation, and sped up time.
Now, that shows that if luck favors you, 당신 can do a lot of things, which should also suggest 당신 are unlucky in other regards, such as Superman's battle with Doomsday, which killed both of them.
That being said, I will now begin to explain how time travel works.
-Forward-
The person will have to be able to 옮기기 extremely slow to the point that time literally passed them by. Also, they must release an anti-aging hormone while this is happening. Think of it as one hell of a hibernation cycle.
-Pause-
According to Einstein, Nothing with mass can go at the speed of light, let alone faster. To this, Quantum Physics laughs. Time may 옮기기 at the speed of light, but the person who pauses time has not actually paused time, but is rather moving several times faster than the speed of light. The body of the person must be able to support such movements. Otherwise, the body would breakdown before time is even 'paused'.
-Reverse-
This is the kicker. Now, going back in time would be cool and all, but something must be considered: paradoxes. Going back in time and changing the past can cause a paradix so severe that it could cause that person 또는 others to be unborn. That can lead to a mess. However, the severity and the probibility of creating a paradox that affects the time traveler is proportional to how far back the clock of time is reeled. But, like Quantum Physics states, a chance is a chance, NOT a definite outcome.
The problem here are paradoxes, which can make the time traveler and all those involved, stuck in an infinite loop of time. Unfortunately, people like Silver have managed somehow to escape the paradox, suggesting it's not all that impossible. So...
is it?
It could be. Maybe, maybe not. What I can say is that Quantum Physics only goes oh so far as to providing us with probabilities, and my logical speculations also have a limit.
And just because I can't explain it doesn't mean it's impossible to escape a paradox. But that's something to be explained.
I'll take requests in attempting to explain any science fiction, 또는 so 당신 think now, phenomena.
