For those of 당신 that play video games, what kind of character do 당신 use as a main?

I normally gravitate to complex and technical characters. Alot of times they are tricky and people don't expect the mixups.

That being said I'll play anyone if I find them interesting enough.

Examples of my mains would be Helena and Christie from Dead 또는 Alive. 또는 Orianna from League of Legends. I play alot of video games so that's just a small amount. Not to mention I have primary, secondary and tertiary main categories but I won't get into them now. I just wanna know the general idea of your main choices.

It depends on the Game and what kind of Genre it is. There is quite a variety. If a Character is interesting enough, it is a given that I'll play them myself. I have my own Main Hierarchy / Rankings as well.

When it comes to League of Legends for example, Main ones happen to be Characters that specialize at long-range like Ashe and Jinx. For Fighting Games, speed and close-range to mid-range do the trick the most (eg. 잼 Kuradoberi 또는 Jack-O Valentine for Guilty Gear, Hong Meiling for Touhou. Jin Kazama 또는 Asuka Kazama for Tekken, Liu Kang for Mortal Kombat, Chai Xianghua for Soul Calibur, etc.). Mid-range also works the best in other variations like Senran Kagura with Asuka, Shiki and Renka being some of my mains. In overall, I'd say that for the most part, I lean towards a simpler but still fast type of playing. Not that much Complex and Practical enough but even so, I'll try and adapt with anyone who draws my eye in general. That's the gist of it, pretty much !!!!

I tend to gravitate towards quicker characters when that's a factor. For example my Smash bros. main is Sheik and in Soulcalibur I always liked the quicker characters like Talim/Cassandra/Raphael. I also really like combo moves so I also like 더 많이 mid-speed characters if I can pull off their combos.
I also admirably am pretty guilty of picking characters for strictly aesthetic reasons...
Except for slow characters that do lots of damage. I can never work with those sorts of characters and will virtually never play them.

Ya we're on the same wavelength there. I don't like using slow characters like that either. I really 사랑 fast grapplers like Tina 또는 Blue Mary so I have my speed and lots of dmg. But people like Astraroth 또는 베이스 I don't do that well with them. i might do okay because of my general knowledge of the games but not close to my max potential.

The types of characters I played as a main are pretty varied. Heck, my mains from the Smash series are vastly different: in Melee I main Samus, in Brawl I main Meta Knight, and in Smash 4 I main Mewtwo. However, I generally play characters that have some form of setups that either discourage 또는 force my opponents in going offensive, 또는 makes my characters 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 stronger. Some of the my 가장 좋아하는 mains are Nu-13 and Carmine from BlazBlue 십자가, 크로스 Tag, and Scizor from Pokken. Nu-13 has Spike Chaser and Gravity Seed, while Carmine has those Blood special attacks. And Scizor has Sword Dance, which helps Scizor to perform 더 많이 damage and combos.

I'm not much of a gamer but usually I just pick whoever is most aesthetic to me. Typically I go for the mage-like characters 또는 characters like Ivy from Soul Calibur.

I see. Fair enough. I go for aesthetic and gameplay. And I found someone that matches that in Taki.

^ Xaingua would be aesthetic/game play for me while Ivy is 더 많이 about aesthetic.

^ Once again, same. One reason she has become one of my Mains in SC. Speed/fast-hitting and close-range is what I mostly go with in Fighting Games. So, besides being a total Waifu, Xianghua certainly delivers in that aspect as well !!!!

Yes but you're forced to play her. I am talking about games where 당신 have to pick characters. I wouldn't say Lara Croft is a main character of mine because she's the main character the player is allowed to play like Faith is.

Ah yes. My game I've always wanted to play (but don't have it) is dance central and the character(s) I would choose often to play is Glitch and/or Amelia. My bad

I`m a sucker for ranged characters. I 사랑 shooting from afar. That`s why I always start with elf class in MU 또는 pick Drow Ranger, Luna, Crystal Maiden etc in Dota 2.
Other group I like a lot are melee strength based heroes. The ones that are hard to kill if built right.

Hmm, idk, I kinda like a variety of characters.
I like my Luigi's, my Heimerdingers, my Links, etc.
I guess if I like the character design, I'll likely insta-like the character. The classes I usually go for is support. I may also dip into tanks as well. Engineer type classes that works like Heimerdinger as well. A lot of character designs, I tend to like scientist sort of characters. I also like cool designs and monsters. Mice and rats are also a plus.
Basically, idk, I test the characters out and whatever sticks, sticks lol.
