I see a cow! :)

I can't understand how somebody could see a f**king cow out of this but I see a landscape with a hanging tree.

I'm trying to see a crow, but all I can see is a person lying down >////<
Or, if 당신 tilt your head, a dragon with a dozen arms preparing to fight off and incoming tsunami of darkness.~

I see absolutely nothing.

Wtf is the cow?
Its a picture of nothing. It just looks like a woman lying down, a landscape, 또는 someone's mouth. But its nothing.

Wreck your brain trying to see something out of the abstract print and you'll only get qualified as "mentally challenged" if this is a Rorschach test, ... ._. ... So I suppose it's not a bad thing if I don't get it, although I feel incompetent not being able to see any of what 당신 mentioned. :P

MR lent me a book to read: Buddhism Plain and Simple.

In this book, there is an interesting picture which i would like to share with you. If 당신 can identify what is this picture, u have probably reached a stage of knowing.

Below is an abstract of the book about the picture:

Truth 또는 reality is not something vague, mysterious, 또는 hidden. 당신 dont have to go to someone else to find it – not to a teacher, 또는 a Buddha, 또는 your parents, 또는 a priest 또는 rabbi 또는 shaman, 또는 any authority whatsoever. Now is it something 당신 can look up in a book. Truth comes to us through seeing. To see is to know.

Seeing needs no further verification. It’s immediate and as one with truth. But we are usually not very skilled at seeing what is actually presented to us.

for a concrete example, look at the picture below. Believe it 또는 not, this is a near photographic rendering of something very familiar, something 당신 have seen (either in person 또는 in pictures) countless times.
If 당신 do not immediately recognize what it is, then notice your state of mind. Notice that it is, to some extent, confused.

Some people, when they first see this picture, say”I think it is a man lying down”. They are not quite sure. They believe it might be a man reclining. But there is no sense of seeing, no conviction that 당신 know what the picture depicts.

Keep looking at the picture. I assure 당신 that when 당신 actually see what it is, all your uncertainty will immediately vanish. 당신 will know what the picture is. All beliefs and uneasiness about it will instantly cease.

If 당신 havent seen what this picture is, keep looking at it for awhile. Eventually 당신 will get it. And when 당신 do get it, notice the sudden shift that takes place in your mind.

Did 당신 notice how 당신 mind relaxed when, suddenly, 당신 saw, and 당신 knew 당신 saw? Your state of mind, which before was vague, mysterious, fuzzy, confused, and uncomfortable, was suddenly transformed the moment 당신 saw. 당신 had clarity and conviction. And that clarity and conviction will remain with 당신 each time 당신 view this picture again.

If somebody says to you,”it is a picture of a man lying down”, 당신 will know they are off the mark – and no amount of argument is going to influence you.

This is analogous to the difference between seeing and simply having a belief, an idea, 또는 concept.

So have 당신 seen it?
