Should I restart my character on Skyrim?

I started the game at 크리스마스 with a Khajiit, who are supposed to be good thieves, right? Thing is, then I wanted to be a mage, then I decided I liked warriors, then I started leveling my thief skills for the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild, and she eventually ended up being a mage wearing heavy armor with a bunch of extra weapons and armor that I keep hoarding (There's gotta be some use for a ring that gives resist poison even though I'm a werewolf, right?)
I'm not bored with the game, It's been amazing so far, but I really don't think my character is working. I'm having a lot of trouble fighting enemies I should be able to kill easily... on novice. But I feel that I've made a lot of progress, and I don't want to just throw it away and give up.
