Why do people say the wii U suck?

Im BEGGING my parents for a wii U JEST for monster hunter 3 Ultimate!! But they keep saying that the reviews
on the system were really bad and ive seen it too.
So...why? it seems awesome to me. And i really dont care about the system i jest want this game! So yeah,
all the wii U users, is the wii U really that bad?

The Wii U is supposed to be classified as a 다음 gen console. However, in comparison to the other 다음 gen consoles being released (ps4, xbox one) is really behind and weak in comparison. Those other consoles are farrrr 더 많이 powerful than the Wii U making the Wii U feel not as current and a bit iffy considering the price of it too. And I've heard people criticize it for being gimmicky.

But on a positive side, it's a very reliable system and I've seen a couple of pretty good games out for it.

If 당신 only want the Wii U for one game... then I'd probably say 당신 will be wasting your money.
