What is so special about being 16?

This says it.

Well, turning 16 is a very important age of your life. I'll give 당신 a few reasons why~

1. It is the age when 당신 can get your drivers license and get to drive, so that means a little 더 많이 freedom since 당신 don't have to wait and schedule to get a ride to go somewhere, 당신 can just give yourself a ride.

2. 당신 are old enough to be able to apply for 더 많이 jobs, since very few jobs hire people under the age of 16, and that means 당신 can get 더 많이 money for shopping! XP

3. Everyone is excited for their 16th birfday because they can have their Sweet 16 which is usually the best and biggest party of a person's teenage years.

4. Last but not least, when 당신 turn 16 당신 are legally allowed to consent.

Nothing.

Originally, when a woman turned 16 it was her coming of age and her family would celebrate that, then marry her off, but sadly the modern age has transits he'd it with spoiled daddy's girls who have their parents wrapped around their little finger. So way back when, it used to mean something now it doesn't. :(

Being 16 is, basically a blessing for some of us. Hell, I might make a big deal when I turn 16. When your 16, 당신 have freedom, 당신 can drive, and get a job

Well, it's different in some countries, but where I live, sixteen is the age where 당신 can marry (if 당신 have parental permission), consent to sex and drive a moped.

The 년 당신 turn sixteen is also the 년 당신 take your final secondary school exams (GCSEs) and the 년 secondary school ends, so 당신 can choose whether to do an apprenticeship, go to college 또는 go to sixth form (which all last another two years).

Sixteen is also supposed to be a 더 많이 mature age than thirteen, fourteen 또는 fifteen, and so generally 당신 are trusted 더 많이 and given 더 많이 respect than younger students at school (if 당신 deserve it - if you're an idiot they come down on 당신 even harder than ever because you're meant to be setting an example for the younger students).

My theory is that they think MTV's still cool when it actually sucks. I could go on about it, but I think we all know why Beavis and Butt-head was cancelled twice.

Because MTV's stupid. Uh, huh huh.

Yeah, and it sucks too. M, heh heh, heh.

Im 16 and for me it means nothing, but i had a big bday party at school xD. It was just a prom night, that was on the same 날짜 like my birthday. :P

There is absolutely nothing special about being 16. You're still forced to abide 의해 your parent's rules, your driver's license isn't promised, everyone's still an asshole, and there's a fuckton of pressure not only from your peers, but also from your family to make great grades so your GPA is high and 당신 can maybe get a scholarship. Being 16, fucking sucks for a lot of people. But for others who have it made, it's probably the best time of their lives.
