What is the point of using grammar on commenting people know what it means anyways.
Simple. Not everyone does know and for example, I had to read this 질문 a couple of times before I knew what 당신 were trying to say - I'm not picking, I just thought I would point that out.
I don't particularly hate bad grammar 또는 spelling as long as it's not done on purpose, it's not in every single sentence, and 당신 can still understand what's being said. No one is perfect I don't believe in the grammar Nazi thing, and I don't see why people are so prideful about being a grammar Nazi. Half the time those people are just being rude 또는 offensive. They can make a person feel really dumb. Intentions may be good but some people don't like it. Just let people (within reason) spell and speak as they wish.
owo I don't really overdo it. Using grammar is really important. Like, if you're 글쓰기 an essay. Using wrong grammar would make 당신 lose points of the essay. So really, people are just trying to help out. But some people take it too far with it.
There is no point.Grammar Nazis can't stand "broken lauguage".They 사랑 proper language so, they want people to speak proper(their way).When that person refuses,grammar nazis get angry and there goes the language war!Grammar Nazi also act like they can speak proper language but nope;they hypocrites.That another reason they don't want to hear & see "broken language".So 당신 don't have to speak 또는 type proper language unless 당신 글쓰기 a essay 또는 something.You don't have to on the internet.:)
Because it's the way the English language was meant to be written. Mein Gott... I just can't stand bad grammar. I guess it's not a necessity for others, but.. it just hurts my head. With all the 읽기 I do I'm so used to proper grammar, and then I met this evilly addictive thing called the Internet and my brain forever hurts. -_-''
For people can understand one another. We communicate with symbols other wise now as letters. If we do not use them the way we are suppose to it would be harder to understand what is being said.
It is simply a form of communication. 당신 don't HAVE to use good grammar, but it is nice to see people typing decently... I don't pretend to care about language all the time, but sometimes I simply cannot help commenting of bad spelling and/or grammar. Most people write fine, even if they make a couple of errors here and there - I don't care about that so much. But, for the people who type lazily, I have no sympathy for 당신 - the English language should be something that the speaker is proud of and wants to make as much of an effort to embrace as possible. I'm not saying that 당신 have type like I do, but some people can certainly make a better effort to do so. (I'm not trying to sound egotistical, I'm a writer, I try to write the best I possibly can, but I still make errors and typos now and then and I always critique myself over anyone else. That's what a writer does.)

That's the thing. Some people don't like their errors being called out for everyone to see! It's embarrassing. I for one get offended when someone nitpicks like that, good intentions 또는 not. Sometimes help just hurts...
@Zanhar, I agree with 당신 for the most part, but I'm not going to hold back if that person types like a moron - people who go out of their way to use bad grammar, obviously don't care about others opinions and, if they do, then they should type a little better.
I totally agree, the ones that spell like crap for attention 또는 to be annoying deserve the nitpicking. I just disagree with grammar/spelling Nazism when it's lashed out at the wrong person.
Yes, I agree too. I don't even really classify myself as a grammar nazi, anyway. For the most part I don't really care about other peoples' spelling, unless it really draws my attention.
Idk, but it gets on my LAST nerve when they keep correcting me, 또는 anybody! We can type however we want, we don't have to have PERFECT spelling/grammar. Some people don't want to hear ur blabber and fixes on their spelling/grammar! Plz stop correcting every little thing!!!!
Some people post up 질문 like 'i g2g 2 a shw & it wazz so amzing!!!!' Some people find that hard to read so they just correct it. I've seen some so bad all I could write was 'Y U NO SPEAK ENGLISH!?'
No, I'm not. But is kinda getting on my nerves when I see many spelling mistakes, and something that is being said doesn't make sense at all. But what the heck? People have the right to type in the way THEY want.
Personally, I think it's 더 많이 about the attitude while using chat speak than actually having bad grammar. For example, I'd honestly find it pretty rude if I asked a very serious 질문 like "Has anyone ever had a loved one who died of cancer?" and someone commented something along the lines of "umm idk i dont think so LOL mabe u should c some1 lol". As for correcting people's typos, I don't mind it at all. I like it when I'm being corrected. That way I can fix it.
Normally I don't mind chat speak it as long as it's still readable. If you're just chatting with someone, that's completely fine because the only person who's 읽기 it is the other person. But really, if someone asks a very well-thought out 질문 they're looking for an educated response. If someone is typin lik dis it could be showing that they're not taking 당신 seriously. And honestly, I think I would be a little offended if I thought someone wasn't taking my 질문 seriously. *shrugs*
