Anybody got any techniques on how to not let grief consume your life?

This is a serious 질문 (so no 답변 like just forget it) my aunt is dying and I keep switching between either feeling numb inside 또는 crying in my classes, I don't know what to do about it. (In case you're wondering, yes this is the aunt that I talked about making a card for a couple of weeks ago.)

When everything else was going to Hell, the only thing I took comfort in was music. With earbuds in, 당신 can block out the rest of the world. For the past couple years I've constantly been listening to 음악 - wake up listening to it, listen to it on the bus, in class, when doing homework, when shopping, when eating dinner, fall asleep listening to it. Every moment of every day. Music. It's like it keeps the order in my life, like the steady beat keeps me sane. I know I sound crazy, but it is what got me though. I don't know if it would work for you, but 음악 was definitely what saved me.

Maybe some other creative outlet would work for you. For a while, I wrote everything down, spun novels from my feelings. (Doesn't work as well with fanfiction, from my experience. Create a character.)

Dunno. Sorry about your aunt. Shit happens. Wish 당신 luck.

Honestly, 당신 need God in your life. Therapy 또는 counceling will help. Maybe even if 당신 talk to family members. But 당신 need God. He's the one that can take away your pain, and allow it to never come back 또는 steal your joy. God is the answer, and the way.

당신 sound like my mom, but I suppose I probably could rely on prayer a little more.

Well, 당신 gotta find things that make 당신 happy.

It doesn't have to be big things.

If drawing makes 당신 happy, even just for a little bit, then draw!

If dancing makes 당신 happy, then dance.

It doesn't have to be big things, but 당신 gotta put all your focus of the little things that make 당신 feel better.

I am so sorry about your aunt, 의해 the way.

I hope things get better for 당신 and your family.
