It was a foreign song and when it got translated to English, they made a mistake. It was originally supposed to be ♪Jimmy cracked 옥수수 and we all cared♪

Because they really did care...

Because whoever wrote the song was watching Jimmy crack the 옥수수 that day. And, unlike what the song says, he did care. And still does on this very day. He cares so much that he wrote that song! It should've been "Jimmy cracked 옥수수 and I do care".
