A poem of a sad man

Across the spreading darkness cold,
the plains charred and black,
the sun will shine and the moon will glow...
Though I'm never coming back.

The air is thick, filled with beating wings;
the mountains loom and laugh.
The valley below no longer sings
of harvest's seasons past.

Echoing in the air are screams,
desperate and harrowing and raw.
And though it was I who caused all this,
I can only stand in awe.

Not once did I think that she would break,
that she could fall, that she could crack.
It's because of this war, it's because of us,
that I won't be coming back.

I kneel beside her body still,
I 키스 her 겨울왕국 cheek.
Her neck is bent and burnt with ropes,
the approaching dawn is bleak.

But the future yields for naught,
and the night goes on and on.
I stand, I turn, I walk away.

I’m supposed to be happy.

I’m supposed to smile.

I’m supposed to laugh.

Yet, I can’t.

I can’t forget that he’s not here.

I can’t forget that he never was.

I can’t forget that he didn’t care.

당신 were supposed to be a father to me.

당신 were supposed to 사랑 me.

당신 were supposed to care.

Yet, 당신 didn’t.

Forgive me if I don’t understand.

I thought father’s were supposed to 사랑 their little girls.

I thought they were supposed to be the dad that beat up their boyfriends.

I thought that I would have a father that loved me.


But, I don’t.

He doesn’t care.

He never will.


I’ve learned to forget him.

He’s no father to me.

He never was.


I’m happy now.

I can laugh and smile.

Even without you.

Dad.

There's a breathless hush in the Close to-night --
Ten to make and the match to win --
A bumping pitch and a blinding light,
An 시간 to play and the last man in.
And it's not for the sake of a ribboned coat,
또는 the selfish hope of a season's fame,
But his Captain's hand on his shoulder smote
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

The sand of the desert is sodden red, --
Red with the wreck of a square that broke; --
The Gatling's jammed and the colonel dead,
And the regiment blind with dust and smoke.
The river of death has brimmed his banks,
And England's far, and Honour a name,
But the voice of schoolboy rallies the ranks,
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

This is the word that 년 의해 year
While in her place the School is set
Every one of her sons must hear,
And none that hears it dare forget.
This they all with a joyful mind
곰 through life like a torch in flame,
And falling fling to the host behind --
"Play up! play up! and play the game!"

If someone told you...
Life's like a rollercoaster,
Don't waste the ride.
Live it up all the way,
because today's your last day

Would 당신 cry a little, scream a little, think it's all pretend.
또는 go into silence until the very end...
Would 당신 사랑 the ones 당신 hate the most 또는 be the person 당신 hide?
Would 당신 pretend that you're ok but really scream inside?

Would 당신 try and keep the sun from setting as your last 일 ends?
Knowing you'll never see it rise...
Tomorrow I'll be somewhere else 당신 say as 당신 close your eyes.

When 당신 stare into my eyes
What do 당신 see?

I know I see a scared girl,
Who wants to break out of her shell
and show the world who she really is.

She feels abandoned and alone
even with 프렌즈 and family around her.
She has been used and she was choking on the promise she would never fall again.

She's the girl people see
Laughing and smiling on the outside
is actually Crying and Hurting inside.

People misunderstands her,
They judge and tease but she puts up a shield.
She is sweet and sensitive but they don't care
They're cruel as the world we live in.

Do 당신 see that in my eyes?
Do 당신 see me?

It's amazing what 당신 can hide
Just 의해 putting on a smile.

Rage I never knew existed

I stumble around dizzily

I know I shouldn't have insisted

We were laughing together

We could have lasted forever

I know that I was wrong

So where does the blame go?

How could I have stooped so low?

The blame is on me

It could have worked out

We would have been fine
