	kellyerin87 picked Yes, I do!: Just wondering, because I feel like this new version of Brooke is so far away from the version that she used to be. She used to be the girl on the show that I felt could cheer anyone up... but these days, I feel like SHE is the one that is constantly needing the cheering up. She used to be so independant, and now I feel like she is turning extremely needy, and she turns all mopey if she doesn't get all the attention from guys (Julian) that she wants. It seems like she is hardly ever happy about anything anymore. I dunno, just wondering if i'm the only one who feels this way?? posted over a year ago.

	kellyerin87 picked Yes, I do!: ^true... she still has her moments where i see a LITTLE of the high school Brooke shining through, i just wish we got to see more of that. rather than her feeling insecure, not good enough, and wishing for something more all of the time. i feel like we hardly ever get to see her just be happy, and satisfied with where she is. she has a pretty good life, but it doesnt seem to ever be good enough for her lately posted over a year ago.

You know, the crazy fun and never predictable Brooke. =] I think she's better this season that in season 6. I seriously hated the Sam storyline. But yea, i miss old Brooke. =/ To be honest, i miss "old" everbody really. They were better in high school. But i guess at some point we all grow up.. xD I still love this Brooke, tho. She's still my favorite character, tied with Nathan. <33 And i don't see that change in any time soon. posted over a year ago.

	jemgrl323 picked Yes, I do!: i love brooke...but she has seemed really down throughout a lot of seasons 5 and 6....and some of season 7 now. there have actually been more scenes in this season than last season that remind me of the old high school brooke...like her interactions with alex in the episodes "what are you willing to lose" and "hold my hand as i am lowered" and also pretty much all of her scenes in "deep ocean vast sea" and brooke was sooo great in "i just died in your arms tonight." but watching brooke in the episodes "i and love and you" and "now you lift your eyes to the sun" has been hard. i looooove brooke-- and the biggest reason is because she's so complex. she's so insecure and has such low self esteem yet she is so strong and so intelligent and so brave! she only had 3 minutes of screen time in i and love and you...so i can't really base my feelings on that one episode--- and while i hated seeing brooke so upset in the last episode...she really had every right to be so upset and fall apart the way she did. but just because her feelings are valid (just like after her attack in season 6)--- doesn't mean that i don't miss watching sassy brooke! but i think we have always seen brooke being two completely different people...someone loud and spunky and maybe bitchy at times but so confident and humorous...and someone insecure and fragile and vulnerable and terrified that the world is going to break her. i prefer seeing her "loud and spunky and maybe bitchy at times but so confident and humorous" side, but it's her "insecure and fragile and vulnerable and terrified that the world is going to break her" side that makes her such an incredible character! posted over a year ago.

She could be really cruel, self centered and too self confident without a reaseon - like being hot could make you a star, just because all boys around lost virginity with you. But the older Brooke- hell yeah! She knew she's one in a million - she proved it! She prover it to the world, she proved it to herself. She was so responsible, so motherly - for Angie (so mature & strong when she had to give her away!), the in an even more difficult kind of love - to Sam (I loved this storyline, I really miss it). She was finally ready to love with her whole heart. Her amazing friendship with Luke & suppeor for leyton - every scene made me happy.
