As we just pass the halfway mark of 2016, Official Charts can reveal which are officially the biggest songs of the year so far.

Leading the way at Number 1 on the tally, which is based on combined digital, physical and streaming equivalent sales, are Lukas Graham with 7 Years.

The track was a massive Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart earlier this year, logging five weeks at the top between February and March. To date, its chart sales stand at 1.258m, including 67.6m streams and 582,000 digital/physical sales.

7 Years also holds the biggest one-week combined sales figure for a Number 1 single this year so far, shifting 134,000 in seven days during its second week at the top. Check out full Official UK Chart history here.

Close behind in second place is Drake’s One Dance, with combined sales of 1.142m. The song has been a massive hit on streaming and is the biggest on the platform in 2016 so far, with 74.8m plays since its April release (contributing to 748,000 of it’s overall combined sales total).

One Dance has so far notched up a mammoth 12 weeks at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart – the longest run at the top since Wet Wet Wet’s 15-week stint with Love Is All Around in 1994. See the song\'s full chart run here.

The third biggest single of 2016 so far is Mike Posner’s I Took A Pill In Ibiza (Seeb Remix). The singer-songwriter’s massive comeback track spent four weeks at the summit in March/April and has notched up combined sales of 1.058m so far.

Rihanna and Drake’s Work, which peaked at Number 2 back in March, sits in fourth place (925,400 chart sales), and Justin Bieber’s former Number 1 Love Yourself closes out the Top 5 (925,000).

Meanwhile, Sia’s Cheap Thrills – which spent an impressive 10 weeks in the Top 5 between April and June - places at Number 6 on the biggest sellers list (917,000 sales), and Fifth Harmony’s Number 2-peaking Work From Home sits just outside the Top 10 at 12 (748,000 sales).

Further down, Calvin Harris and Rihanna’s This Is What You Came For makes a big entry at Number 14 despite being released just nine weeks ago, and the lowest-charting track to appear on the list is Chainsmokers’ Roses, which sneaks in the list at 38 despite its Number 16 peak on the Official Singles Chart.
