What is better: the movie City of 본즈 또는 the new Shadowhunters series?

Honestly I think the new series on Freeform is better. The movie was horrible, and didn't make all that much sense, like is Jocelyn in the Institute? because it sure looked like it.
Shadowhunters has not very many problems, and the casting was a million times better. The main problem: WHY IS LUKE BLACK!?!?!? I've seen 'Clary's' drawings and Luke is a blond white guy!!!!
