Steve Bohbot, owner of the Los Angeles showroom Connected International Sales, will represent the J5 Collection line of clothing. Bohbot confirmed a report in Women's Wear Daily magazine that the Jackson family and the Michael Jackson Estate were launching the clothing line of men's and women's T-shirts and jackets.
The T-shirts will feature never-before-seen images of the Jackson family - some taken backstage while on tour - and paintings made by artists who worked for the family. Bohbot said he initiated plans for the fashion line a year-and-a-half ago because he is a Jackson fan and loves the "retro vibe" of the Jackson 5's constantly changing outfits. He credited Jackie Jackson, the eldest of the Jackson brothers, with negotiating the deal and agreeing to help run the business.

T-shirts will feature images ranging from the Jacksons' beginnings to their 1984 Victory Tour, will sell for $22 to $46. The T-shirt images and fashions will change every three-and-a-half months.

Leather jackets made as replicas of those that Michael Jackson wore in "Thriller" and "Beat It" videos will go for $600.
