I think that my favourite series would have to be The Emily Trilogy, then Anne, and my favourite stand-alones would have to be A Tangled Web, Kilmeny of the Orchard, then The Story-Girl.

I love The Blue Castle. As a young girl I fell in love with the Anne books but as I became older I discovered BC. I adore the complexities of Valancy and the wonderfully ironic portraits of the Stirling clan. The Blue Castle is a reworked version of Cinderella with lashings of magic and humour.
