S1E21: link

I decided to analyze those episode together, because they are all about the same fairy tale (“Sleeping Beauty”) and as a three-parter, it doesn’t seem to make much sense to see them isolated from each other. The 인용구 of “Woman in Black” and “The Kiss” are both from “Sleeping Beauty”, but “Bad Teeth” (and the season) starts with a quote from the poem “The 초 Coming” 의해 W. B. Yeats :

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The 매, 팔 콘 cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed...

In it's 초 year, Grimm managed to captivate its audience just as well as it did in the first season. New twists, characters, and alliances kept the whole season fresh and exciting. It was difficult to pick out just seven of this last season's episodes, but I finally thinned it out to what I think are the best.

#7: Episode 41, "Endangered"; The Gluhenvolk are an amazing species of wesen. Not only does this episode delve into the origin of aliens, but it also introduces a beautiful species of wesen, not to mention the underlying message about poaching endangered animals.

The quote of the week is from “Donkey Cabbage”, but I’ve decided not to do a Reference Rundown on it yet. The “Donkey Cabbage” plot is there, but it is 더 많이 in the background, while the main case has no connection to this fairy tale at all. But there is a connection to another Fairy Tale. 당신 might not have noticed, but when Nick is entering the hideout of the Skalengecks, there is graffiti at the wall. The quote “Nicht lange danach überkam die Katze wieder ein Gelüst” is from another Grimm Tale, “Cat and 쥐, 마우스 in Partnership”. In the English version, the quote...
