I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Titles for Game of Thrones season five episodes 5-7 have been revealed; plus, a character renamed | Watchers on the 벽 | A Game of Thrones Community for Breaking News, Casting, and Commentary
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Once again, GeeklyInc has broken the story of new episode titles for
season 5. We’ve checked with our sources, and they confirm that these are accurate. The titles for the episodes are:
“Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken” was one of the most popular choices for an episode title this year, in our survey a few weeks ago. The motto of House Martell is powerful, and the family is making a big splash this year, so it’s no surprise it is indeed an episode title in season 5.
“The Gift” was actually mentioned as a possible title as well in the survey. The Gift is a region near the Wall, but could also hold a double meaning, referring to the gift of mercy, and other gifts that hold significance in the episode.
“Kill the Boy” is an obvious reference to a well-known quote from the books, “Kill the boy and let the man be born.” This is another one that has a straightforward meaning, but could take on layers of other meaning in an episode. After all,
I’ve received info from an unnamed source that the former slave character played by Reece Noi has had his name changed from Keyr to Mossador.
Noi’s slave in Meereen in “Oathkeeper” had no name, but this year was listed as “Keyr,” a Valyrian-flavored name. What’s interesting is that the name Mossador exists in the books- he’s Missandei’s brother, and one of the Unsullied.
It’s unclear if this is another case of the writers borrowing a name from the books a la Myranda to fit an unrelated character. It seems like it may be as
our source has seen the premiere, and reports that Keyr/Mossador shares scenes with Missandei in the season premiere, and there’s no dialogue that indicates the two are related.
So readers, what do you make of this news? Do you like the new titles?

Nice, I prefer titles like this to titles that are simply names of people or places. “The Gift” is best.
I just wonder what will happen in Dorne this year, I am expecting that something similar with the book plot will happen in Dorne on episode 6
Just realized (can’t edit) that “The Gift” could refer to the area south of The Wall. Still, even if that’s partly what it refers to I’m sure it’ll be a double-meaning of that and
Just realized that was pointed out in the article. Read first, then comment; read first, then comment…
I am so happy an episode is named “Kill the Boy.” While it is no guarantee, it certainly indicates to me
I love what Aemon has to say. I hope we get some good moments from him this season.
Looking back at the survey’s detail results, there were a few people who suggested “Kill the Boy” on the survey anonymously.
I really wish they had kept in Missandei having Unsullied brothers. It would have added depth to her character without .. Greyworm romance.
I think it’d have been cute if they’d done that and brought in this Mossador guy as one of her brothers instead of a random slave. Weird change.
Shall we speculate what scene will close out each episode?
Episode 1 Wars to Come named for the last words uttered by Mance, ends with mance’s death.
Episode 2 The house of Black and White this will end with Arya gaining entrance into the house.
Episode 3 High Sparrow The faith militant destroying all the beer etc. Kind of like when Joffrey murdered all the babies. Wait just remembered this is where Jorah will kidnap Tyrion most likely.
Episode 4 Sons of the Harpy An epic swordfight in mereen. Barristan death?! Plz no
Episode 5 Kill the Boy Aemon pyre. Janos slynt losing his head.
Episode 6 Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken This will be a major dorne scene, Queenmaker of some sort? Bronn bye bye?
Episode 7 The Gift Either Arya kills someone, or Arya goes blind.
Episode 8 Hardhome, Jon face to face with Nightsking
Episode 9 Daznak Big Dragon Lands, or Cersei Walk
Now Sue has relegated herself to click bait. No one has ever said this character’s name was “Keyr” other than your sources.
Title should have read. “and correction, my sources were wrong.”
Upcoming issue of Empire Magazine to have 30 pages dedicated to GoT.
I feel like Aemon will die in the same episode in which he dispenses the advice to Jon. That’s the last time Jon speaks to him in the books (because Aemon leaves with Sam and Gilly). As Sam and Gilly don’t seem to be going on their trip I feel like Aemon will simply pass away at Castle Black.
I assume some big Dorne stuff will be going down in ep 6 then…
The Gift will probably refer to several different things but yeah – I assume one of them will be
i think we will still have Sam atleast in bravos this season he wont be at castle black when FTW happens and Aemon dying could be a good reason to get Sam some maester training in future.
Does anyone else find it weird that HBO has yet to issue a single press release with the title, synopses, and cast list like they’ve always done a month before air? All the titles, etc have leaked via outside sources, and Fury found the cast list buried in the HBO schedule.
Why the secrecy this year? Is this really all to hide that Tom Wlaschiha is a cast regular? Can’t think of any other reason an official release for the season isn’t out by now.
Re your speculation about the episode named ‘The Gift.” Does Jon do this in ADWD to
give the Wildlings somewhere to stay after they cross through the wall?
seems like an extension of the marketing campaign which intended to piss everyone off and maybe they like making fans work for it.
I hope the second meaning of Kill the Boy is related to Ygritte´s death……

1. His resume which is posted online states his character name is Keyr. So yeah, you’re wrong. http://www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1/M109845.html
2. If you’re going to continue to troll this website after getting banned under multiple screennames, you need to start using new emails. At least
Cersei and Jaime adjust to a world without Tywin. Varys reveals a conspiracy to Tyrion. Dany faces a new threat to her rule. Jon is caught in between two kings.
Arya arrives in Braavos. Pod and Brienne run into trouble on the road. Cersei fears for her daughter’s safety in Dorne as Ellaria Sand seeks revenge for Oberyn’s death. Stannis tempts Jon. An adviser tempts Dany.
In Braavos, Arya sees the Many-Faced God. In King’s Landing, Queen Margaery enjoys her new husband. Tyrion and Varys walk the Long Bridge of Volantis.
We also knew which episodes the different writers were doing by late February last year.
Thanks for the confirmation, I have updated the wiki accordingly.
Holding off on Mossador until we can get confirmation of this name change.
Personally, I thought that this should have been the “phrase” for the whole season! It is the common thread for all the lead characters, after all.
Renly’s Peach: It would have added depth to her character without .. Greyworm romance.
Doing it this way is much more effective on television: it does a much better job of telling the audience just what slavery can cost people than having a couple of her brothers be eunuchs. That, in turn, is important for developing Daeny’s character, which is what really counts: after all, she is one of the two most important characters in the story.
Upon looking it up to double check (Been a while since I’ve read it!)
Jon allows Stannis to settle free folk in the Gift. Stannis has loads of wildling prisoners and has nowhere to put them and he doesn’t want to execute them or let them die.
Yes, but we only know those because they leaked, as well. SpoilerTV posted those on their own. The full season press release is usually sent out to all media outlets. All HBO PR has officially sent this year so far are photos.
“The Gift” is a great title with multiple meanings, touching potentially on Jon’s storyline, but moreover gives me the strong impression that the show is working through all of Arya’s plotline up through
, so Maisie’s going to see more screentime than ever, I expect.
I believe she’s going to crush it this season.
I’m going to take a stab at “Kill the Boy” (no pun intended) and suggest that it may, in fact, bear another death nobody has talked about… a very unexpected death, possibly the death that in fact the story about “someone” reading the books did not see coming…
We know the opening scene in “The Wars to Come” shows the flashback to Cersei’s prophetic visit to Maggy the Frog. It’s specified in that prophecy that all three of her children will die before her.
This show has three seasons left. We’re entering endgame. It would fit the vision to have Tommen die, casting further concern in King’s Landing as Cersei becomes even more broken, having lost the son she put so much faith in. It would also be the final nail in the coffin between the Lannisters and Tyrells.
It’s not unexpected at *all* to assume that Dean-Charles Chapman (Tommen) reads the books. He also has very limited storyline left in the books to date.
Perhaps the Faith Militant starts its payback – maybe even with the Iron Bank’s help – by offing Tommen. This would truly set up a crisis of government continuity, shepherding Myrcella back from Dorne.
The actor seems to talk about next season as if its a guaranteed thing something along the lines of I cant wait to see what my character does in the seasons after this one. However, I think
myrcella could be screwed, I dont believe she is really alive in the books at this point so maybe the queen maker plot could go wrong
Tommen’s death is great season 6 episode 1 or 2 material. It’s too early this season and there is so much going on in the later episodes that it would just be forgotten easily. If he died in season 6 then that could setup the whole story for that season. The end of the first episode is a very likely candidate for him to die I think.
