The 12th and final scheduled episode of the Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club 텔레비전 아니메 ended early Thursday morning with a message that simply read, "see 당신 다음 summer…" The 이전 episodes ended with the message "see 당신 다음 water time," but Kyoto 애니메이션 has yet to announce a 초 season of the anime.
The story began with Haruka Nanase, a high school boy who once swam competitvely. After years of separation, his childhood friend Rin challenges him to a swimming match, showing Haruka his overwhelming power. Not wanting it to end like this, Haruka gathers together his former teammates Makoto and Nagisa once again, and also brings a new member named Rei Ryugazaki to create the Iwatobi High School Swimming Club. Haruka, Makoto, Nagisa, Rei, and Rin come together for a story of swimming, youth, and friendship.
The 아니메 premiered in July, and Crunchyroll has been streaming the 아니메 as it airs in Japan.

Over the last weekend my friend and I attended a con in California where we hosted an 18 and over panel themed around Splash Free! Even though it was the last panel of the last day, the room was full and everyone had a blast.
Haru and Makoto hosted several activities including a speed drawing contest, a dating game, and an improv dance battle. The audience interaction made the event so fun.
