Jebel Akhdar 또는 Green Mountain refers to the northern section of the Hajar mountains. As 당신 take the road out of Nizwa heading for Jebel Shams. This rises to a height of 2,980 metres and is famous for its wide plateau close to the summit.
The journey from Muscat to Al Jabal Al Akhdar takes about two hours and can only be undertaken 의해 four-wheel drive. A picnic lunch (en-route). Pass 의해 the Wadi Bani Habib which skirts beautiful villages with their terrace farming fields.
Proceed to the 상단, 맨 위로 of Jebel Akhdar to enjoy breathtaking view from the top. We will also stop at the Jabal Akhdar hotel for 차 또는 Omani coffee and some light refreshments (optional). Return to Muscat in the evening.
