Disney has more than its fair share of majestic redheads, and we love each and every one of them. To prove it, we compiled a list of some (but not all!) of the most notorious gingers to grace the television sets of our childhoods (and adulthoods, let’s be honest). Disney redheads taught us how to be peppy, bold, and full of life… and how to look fabulous while doing so. Buckle up for some major hair envy:

Many a young Disney fan has come to terms with the fact that Peter Pan was their first ginger crush.

If red hair is good enough for Greek gods and their mythical helpers, it’s good enough for the world.

The first time we saw Frozen, Hans’ betrayal left us all asking “why?!” But before that revelation, we were delighted by the prospect of this (actually) too-good-to-be-true ginger pairing.

Call me, beep me, if you want to admire my fabulously volumized red hair and ability to effortlessly pull off crop tops.

Jessica gets all the fame for being redhead extraordinaire, but it’s only fair to point out that Roger is part of the redhead club, too.

Rootinest tootinest redhead in the wild, wild, West.

In addition to having fabulous hipster style, Anita has a shade of red hair we wish we could replicate in real life.

Giselle represents the quintessentially perfect Disney princess, so the fact that she’s a redhead should tell you something.

This picture of Thomas’ family fascinates us—it’s like a perfect case study in how shades of ginger are passed down family lines.
