This outfit is very plain and shapeless.

To me, Mulan's underclothes, though nothing special, at least look nice. Merida's white underclothes are drab in comparison and don't look good on her.

I don't like this, especially 'cause that corset what she wears did not exist in that era.Women wear that type of corset around 1890. Such a huge movie fail....

Yep, I love this era's fashion(Victorian, Edwardian) so I immediately saw that mistake.

@jeangreyforever I found an interesting article about how culturally accurate the film is. It's very short and only briefly touches on clothing, but it states that Merida's clothing is more a mix of several medieval time periods rather than being inaccurate to the one it's set in. link
