I rewatched Beauty and the Beast yesterday to FINALLY decide where Belle fits, and to my surprise, I found her bland & a bit too obsessed with her father & and I didn't love her as much as I used to! I also found her a little...stupid at times, and a bit conceited. She was still nice & kind and I loved that she was a bookworm still. From the last time I watched the movie, about a year ago, she was second on my list. I remember liking her. Now I'm upset she's lower. However, I have to rewatch Pocahontas & Snow White and see where THEY fit because Pocahontas moved down from second favorite to third and lower still. Snow White moved up because of it. Belle may be 4th. I'm actually pretty upset I don't love her as much as I used to. However, when I watched the movie I didn't really get into it and was talking to people online for part of it, though it was about the movie. Or maybe I'm just upset & in denial that I didn't enjoy the movie as much when I used to love it. I found I actually liked the Beast & Gaston & most of the other male characters of the movie more. I found them a lot more interesting and now I'm not sure I understand what her charm is to so many people. Sorry for the rant. posted over a year ago.

	TotallyMe105 picked 1: I think the reason people make a big deal out of her is because she is defiantly one of the more relatable princesses of disney. Some people(like me who like her best) also want to find adventure and along the way if we find love thats great. But its nice to know someone else is thought of weird(I dont have many friends because im a little more quiet and I like to read)all the other princesses were in a sense accepted Belle was thought of as weird just because she read but i dont get why they never gave a chance they all sang about how pretty she was and her town was quite shallow. She just seems real to me because I know how she feels...living in a small town and wanting something bigger is a common dream...but the way she handled it was very different and what she eneded up getting cause us all to hope we would get an adventure too.
