The upcoming season will focus on the fallout from Dean (Jensen Ackles) being turned into a demon in the season nine finale.

"Castiel wants to get the old Dean back, but he also is determined to get rid of demon Dean, whatever that takes," Collins said backstage at Comic-Con 2014 last weekend.

"If that means there\'s no choice but to kill Dean, Castiel is willing to go there. So their relationship, I would say, is strained at the moment!"

Collins is returning as a series regular in season ten, alongside the newly promoted Mark Sheppard.
