Umm...Jesus?! He was born on 25th Dec.
I was also with a cold two days ago, still recovering, yesterday I couldn't sleep at all but , so far, so good!

예수님 wasn't born in December.

It is in the winter because 크리스마스 is a very old tradition. It was known as Yule.
They used to celebrate 크리스마스 to bring back the light in the dark short and cold day's.

It has nothing to do with 예수님 at all. It is a very old Germanic/Celtic tradition.
It has to be in the winter because then the day's are the shortest.
