I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Britt Roberston 2017
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
To say that we were excited for last week’s premier of
is somewhat of an understatement. We couldn’t wait to see how Britt Robertson brought Sophia Amoruso’s best-selling book (also titled
to life. We may or may not have (read: totally already did) binge-watched the entire first season and are now waiting with baited breath for season two. To tide us over, we chatted with Britt Robertson about the foods that make her happy, the shows that she personally binge-watches, and what being a #Girlboss means to her. Happy reading…
From start to finish, what would be your ideal food day?
A Belgian waffle and bacon in the morning; chicken and dumplings in the afternoon; and steak, Brussels sprouts, and macaroni and cheese for dinner – and apple pie for dessert, of course.
Honestly, I’m not the healthiest person when it comes to dieting, but I do try to eat balanced meals. However, I also choose to eat foods that make me happy. To create a balanced meal, then, I always – er,
– pair my “happy” food with something nutritious. (i.e., steak = happiness, Brussels sprouts = nutrition). In terms of exercise, I try to lift weights once a week, practice yoga once a week, and hike once a week.
What are your morning and nightly beauty routines?
In the morning, I brush my teeth, wash my face with Yes to Cucumbers Daily Gentle Cleanser, and then I apply either Kate Somerville Clarifying Treatment Toner or Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (I alternate between these two products). Then, I finish my routine with a daily moisturizer that contains sunscreen. As for my nightly beauty routine, I simply repeat my morning routine!
Much like the real Sophia, I had an injury to the groin area, but I got it just from playing her!
I need to feel energized to get into my character, so I jump in place a lot to help circulate energy.
Where do you love to travel? What won’t you travel without?
I love to travel to local spots around California – specifically up and down the coast so that I can travel with my dogs. But what I really can’t/won’t travel without is my Kindle.
Squats, lunges, and yoga are my go-to workout routines. I like to keep it simple!
What does being a #Girlboss mean to you?
Simply put, being a #Girlboss means taking ownership of your life.
What’s always in your fridge? What do you snack on when you’re on set?
I always have Chobani greek yogurt in my fridge. On set snacks include strawberries and raw red and green peppers.
What does a healthy body image mean to you? How do you practice that?
To me, a healthy body image means feeling good on the inside. To achieve this, I eat happy and nutritious foods and exercise to maintain energy.
How is working on a Netflix show different than working on television?
There are actually very few notes from Netflix. Other studios and networks are generally more involved.
Is there any one issue you are passionate about right now and why?
My good friend founded a non-profit organization that provides children who are suffering from cancer with a weeklong camp. Actually, I’m currently trying to raise money for her.
What are five fashion items you’re coveting right now?
A cute back pack (prolonging that trend), heels with socks, stackable rings, an oversized sweatshirt, and slouchy boyfriend jeans.
If you could host a dinner party with any five people living or dead, who would be there? What would you cook?
Oprah, Amelia Earhart, Mother Theresa, Obama, and Beyoncé. I’d kick it old style and cook beef stew served with garlic bread and a yummy salad.
In the same vein as what is the new black in fashion, what’s the new potato right now?
I’d have to say kale. Or macaroni and cheese if we’re taking a carb-y route!
