SEGA has not been kind to the supporting cast lately. Sonic Boom looks promising, but being a spin-off set in an entirely different universe, it has little impact on the main line of Sonic games. Blaze has received the brunt of this treatment, as has every character besides Sonic, Eggman, and Tails (to an extent). However, Blaze has a problem unique to her likeness; Silver. He has also been sidelined as a result of SEGA's "Return to the Roots" approach to recent titles, but in most recent titles in which he does appear, he appears alongside Blaze. Silver happens to be quite the hit with the fanbase, as Blaze is, but to a much larger extent. He is enormously 인기 with the younger fans, which are main demographic to which this series is targeted, 더 많이 또는 less (don't take that to heart, though, there's no problem with older people liking this series as well). With this in mind, it's not much of a surprise that he might get 더 많이 attention than less 인기 characters, but Silver's spotlight comes at Blaze's expense, which is my main issue. Since Silver tends to show up in the series around Blaze nowadays, the extra attention he gets amounts to extra attention Blaze doesn't get, since every non-main character nowadays is being pushed aside to make way for the blue blur himself. I've already ranted about Blaze being treated as a sidekick to Silver, but now I would like to propose a solution.
Blaze's debut in the series was as a socially inept but dedicated and passionate guardian from an alternate dimension. Silver's debut in the series was as a time traveler from the future who wanted to change the hell his world had been made into. These two settings are extremely far apart and different from each other, which makes one wonder how these two always manage to end up together. My solution is to keep them separated. We don't need any 더 많이 "nods to Sonic 2006". These two had their big moment together. Not to mention that SEGA had to completely change Blaze's backstory (and to an extent, her personality) to fit her in with Silver in Sonic 2006. If SEGA wanted a sidekick for Silver, they should create a new character, not keep using Blaze, who doesn't really fit with him anyway. Blaze already has a potential sidekick in Marine from her own world, if SEGA would just bother to bring her back and give her some character development on 상단, 맨 위로 of what she got in Rush Adventure (remember the green energy she used against the Egg Wizard?). Marine needs development, but I do believe she has the potential to become to Blaze what Tails is to Sonic.
This is how I believe this little issue could be solved. 의해 keeping the characters separate and developing characters for both to be used as alternatives for pairing the two together while still fulfilling most of the same roles that either fulfilled as part of a team. It should help keep Blaze from becoming obscured 또는 smothered in Silver's shadow (with respect to the Blaze fans) without having to drop 또는 exclude Silver entirely from the cast while still providing a sort of foil to his character (with respect to the Silver fans) This of course means the end of Silvaze, but Takashi Lizuka has made it quite clear there will be no canon couples in Sonic games in the foreseeable future. Feel free to 토론 또는 질문 my points in this article. I do strive to be a sensible representative of my fanbase.

The reason why I support this couple is because this is the very first reason why I joined this club. My first Sonic game was 'Sonic Rush.' I started to grow addicted to it, epically Blaze. When it came the end of the game with Sonic and Blaze floating to each other, my first thought was that they were gonna kiss,(I wish) but instead they shook hands. When they started to separate from each other they held to each other tightly until both of them let go. So after that I was a Sonaze fan. So here are my reasons:
1- Sonic is the one that taught her friendship. (besides Cream)
2- They both saved...
