Baka and test, at first i thought it was just a load of fanservice but i soon got into the plot after episode 3.

Full Metal Alchemist. Usually i hate all this 'magic' 'action-ey' stuff but since ive loved 아니메 for over 2 years now and have still never watched it, i decided i had to. so i did. and i 사랑 it!!! its amazing!! <3
p.s: it was also a huuuuge plus that my 2 fav seiyuus were the main characters ; Romi Paku as edward and Rie Kugimiya as Al )

I know my original answer was Soul Eater however now that i think about it i can recall a better example. Ouran High School Host Club. I started it out of recommendation from a friend. The first episode began and all i could think was "What the hell am i watching!" ( as does everyone who i tell the plot to). But as it went on i laughed and it grew on me. Then the last episodes came and it got really deep and i realized how amazing the story was with all the character backgrounds. Go Ouran!!!!

나루토 and Durarara!!

Hmm..that's probably Ouran for me at first I thought I wasn't going to like it but then I read the 망가 and it was so funny and after I watched the 아니메 and I ended up loving it and I never jumped to conclusions when it comes to 아니메 again!

I really didn't think I would like Bleach.

Hetalia

Bleach and Code Geass. Bleach used to confuse me when my sister attempted to explain it. (A show about ghosts and ghost monsters and the main character is kinda a ghost but not really and he fights evil ghosts.) I generally don't like mecha anime/TV so I didn't think I would like it.

At first I thought that 나루토 was a perveted show cuz of the sexy jutsu but then I became really interested. Then ouran, at first i thought it was a gay show cuz of all the 꽃 and fancy stuff, but then i laughed every episode and eventually i read the manga.

Baccano it just did not look good but i watched it and it was good

나루토 and Bleach.

At first I thought 나루토 was so stupid because of all their ninja powers and jumping from 나무, 트리 to tree. Also I thought violence and blood were bad and shouldn't be aloud in a show. I know I was stupid for thinking that. But I was flipping through episodes and decided to watch it because I saw 카카시 선생님 with big lips and it caught my attention. Ever since episode 101 I thought this show was epic, As for Bleach I thought it was plain dumb. Now I think its an okay show.

i was pretty hesitant to watch this 아니메 cause i dont like sports and i thought it would be pretty boring


that was until i saw the characters and fell in 사랑 with them.

I didn't think I'd like Oreimo half as much as I did.

Mine too is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.I hated it first.But my brother loved it from the first episode.But i loved it when Yoko kissed Kamina.I 사랑 that episode so much.

Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I always heard it to be very Mind Screwy, but I just can't help but 사랑 it after finishing the original series and film. It just seemed to embody humanity at its worst and exemplified some issues I had with tsunderes (I'm very ambivalent about tsunderes).

A tie between 헤타리아 and Lucky Star. And possibly K-ON!!. They're so meaningless, yet so addictive. Not really the sort of thing I like but yes.

Hetalia....... but the good news is that now it's officially my 3rd 가장 좋아하는 아니메 and I 사랑 it!! :D ........ although I still feel ashamed for not loving it the first time i saw it........

Lucky Star. It doesn't have much of a plot, and I thought I would hate it. But the characters grew on me and I thought it was really funny.

at first, code geass, i realy didnt think i would like it because of all the gundam/robots, which for me isnt realy my thing, the same with gurren lagann, but every one kept saying how amazing code geass was, so i decided to look up the trailer & evan that didnt interest me, but it was getting annoying with everyone talking about it so i decided to watch it ,to see for myself if it was realy as awesome as every sais it was, & from the first episode, i was hooked! & after that ending it turned out to be on the 상단, 맨 위로 of my favourites, the same with gurran lagann~

Hetalia.
When I was looking around for a new 아니메 to watch, someone recommended Hetalia. Some people told me it was a really good and funny anime, and at the same time other people said that it was a horrible 아니메 and was waste of my time. Deciding that if I wouldn't watch it 또는 not, I researched on it and found out that it was based on actual historical events and the characters were personified countries. Me, secretly a History nerd and a huge 팬 of comedy anime, decided to try to watch it, but was still hesitant because of the bad feedback from some people. When I actually got around to watching it, I surprisingly enjoyed watching the first few episodes. And now, it's my 2nd 가장 좋아하는 anime~ ^^

One Piece
At first i didnt want to try it cause i wasn't wild about the art style. Then i happen to catch about 1 분 of an episode an thought, what the hell is wrong with that guy (Luffy had been shot at an the bullets basically bounced off and i thought he was obnoxious) i must a been in a bad mood that 일 또는 something lol
I could see that it was really 인기 an it had the kinda action i like so months later i figured i'd give it a shot.... an now its one of my all time favorites. the art style actually fits the characters and the type of show that it is (if that makes any sense at all)

rosario + vampire i looked at some pics and i thought it was boring but i watched the 초 episode and fell in love

Fruits Basket and Durarara. Some of my 프렌즈 always talked about Fruits Basket like there was no action in it and never told me it had something to do with the Chinese Zodiac, but now i love. and with Durarara someone told me it was like a soap oprea with alot of drama and confusing and stuff like that but i loved it after i watched the first episode.

Didnt think it would be cool, but I've already finished it and dragonball gt.

the 아니메 for haru wo daiteita i saw a couple clips before i watched and it looked a little weird to me i watched it like a 월 later and relized it wasn't that bad
