How big can a domestic cat grow to be?

I'm curious because my mom claims to have seen a black cat the size of a medium dog (by medium dog I mean like a border 콜리, 콜 리 또는 Bulldog) at my grandpa's farm. I know there a lots of feral 고양이 around there, but there's basically normal sized. I live in Illinois so there aren't any wild 고양이 native to my area, if it wasn't a domestic cat it would qualify as a phantom black panther, I wanted to know if normal 고양이 grew that big before I started flipping out and thinking I had a cryptid roaming around (although that might be kind of cool).

The answer to your 질문 is yes, 고양이 can grow that big. I know this because I have a large black cat. He is three years old and stand on all four up to my knee, and when he stands on two feet he reaches my waist. I stand at 5'2, and he is not fat just tall.

no cat can be as big as a medium dog, the worlds heaviest cat is like 28 pounds (sad) its a persion and just fat but they cant get that big if the 개 are 강아지 then it may be posible :P

I think it depends on the breed. I've seen a Maine Coon bigger than my dog. My dog's about a foot 또는 so tall. It might be just really really fluffy, too.
