Do 당신 think Amy saves the 일 too much, 또는 is that cool?

The last 2 episodes (maybe the last 3 - we're up to episode 4) Amy has saved the 일 with the Doctors help. Do 당신 think think kinda defeats the purpose of DOCTOR who? I like it but I think they should let the Doctor save the 일 a couple of times. Maybe they're leading up to somthing?... :)
