here is my answer :
I only like Fang's personality(secretive, closed off, like a shadow) and he really does like max.
Sure Dylan is a nice guy to but he tries so hard on winning max's 심장 and if u think of it in a way Dylan was created for that, if he was just a normal mutant would he like max???
