The show's creator, Greg Weisman, confirmed the show had been renewed for a 초 season of 20 episodes, titled Young Justice: Invasion, which would most likely begin airing in March 2012.

The Team, with new additions, must partner up with their mentors in the Justice League to save Earth from Darkseid and his Apocalyptic Armies.

What was I supposed to do? I had no choice, no choice at all. There was no point of me being on the team anymore, and Heather had been able to convince me of that. So I ended up faking my own death. I didn't have the guts to go tell them that I was just going to quit being a hero anymore.
