“Ouch! That hurts!” Evy exclaimed.
Becca giggled, rubbing aloe onto Evy's back.
“Sorry Ev. But 당신 got too much sun. 당신 burned pretty badly.”
“I hate sun! Why did we go anyways?”
“You wanted to.”
“Oh. Yeah.”
Even though she couldn't see her, Evy was pretty sure Becca was smiling at her statement. She sighed, jerking as Becca's hands touched a very sensitive spot. A knock sounded on the door, alerting them that the others were back.
“Come in,” Evy called.
She tried to turn her head, but it hurt her neck.
“Whoa! Evy! You're red!”
“Thanks Robin. I never would have thought.”
Sarcasm dripped from her mouth as Evy cracked a smile. Robin came over so she could see him and she saw the big smile on his face.
“You two have fun at the beach?”
“I did until I burned!” Evy proclaimed. “Ouch! Watch what you're doing!”
“Sorry! There are several tender spots!”
“I noticed. So what did 당신 guys do?”
“Nothing much. Just walked about town. Artemis and Megan wanted to check out a sale 또는 something and Kaldur wanted Connor to learn how to act in 'civilized' areas.”
“So why did 당신 and Wally go?”
“They were going 의해 a game store and Wally wanted to show the game he wants to buy.”
“I see. What game?”
“Some Halo game.”
“Ah.”
Evy put her head down, relaxing as Becca's hands rubbed in the aloe almost like a massage. She was soon falling asleep and the two others left her alone. Before she realized it, Evy had fallen asleep.
