Becca looked up as her mother went out the door. She whispered to one of the guards and then reentered the room. Becca gave her a look but Kendra just smiled coyly. A 초 later, a girl about two years older than Becca entered the room. Her long blonde hair fell to her knees, her eyes as red as a spring rose. She was dressed in a blue gown, similar to that of her mothers.
“Becca!”
“Fiore!”
The two hugged and Becca looked up into Fiore's eyes.
“How did 당신 survive? I thought he killed you!”
“Anton is great with weapons but my magic is stronger.”
Becca's eyes teared up again as her sister explained.
“I can't believe you're alive!”
“I can't believe you're here! I've waited for 당신 to come 집 but 당신 never did! I thought Anton had gotten my youngest sister!”
The two hugged again and Becca couldn't help how emotional she was feeling.
“This can't be real. It has to be a dream,” she whispered.
“Life is only the dream 당신 live when you're awake, Becca.”
“Then I never want to fall asleep!”
“My master, I'm sorry for the interruption.”
“Go ahead Luna,” Becca said, wiping her eyes.
“There are intruders inside the kingdom. What must I do?”
“Take care of Becca Luna,” Kendra ordered. “Don't let anything happen to her.”
“Yes my liege.”
Luna took hold of Becca's elbow and escorted her into Becca's old chambers. They had been cleaned and decorated, awaiting her arrival. Becca sat on the 침대 and waited while Luna closed and locked the door. Luna then stood beside Becca, aware of any sudden movements.
“I'm sorry for the alert.”
“No need Luna. I'm glad to have you. Not only are 당신 dedicated, but 당신 are very caring.”
“Thank 당신 master. It is an honor to hear such words from you.”
“Ah...why must 당신 take care of me? Isn't there someone of higher importance?”
“Probably. But I chose to protect you. As the Jewel of Attalin, it serves as challenge I find all too enjoyable. A challenge I gladly accepted.”
“I see. Am I just a challenge?”
“Not you, master. Guarding 당신 is the challenge. Many want to steal our Jewel therefore I find this challenge quite intriguing and well played.”
“Mmm.”
Luna suddenly stiffened, her senses on high alert.
“Is there trouble?”
“No. The intruders are inside the palace.”
“That's not trouble?”
“No. They have been over taken.”
“Oh!”
A knock sounded and Luna bristled.
“It is me, Luna,” Kendra called.
The door was unbolted and Kendra swooped in.
“My apologies 퀸 Kendra.”
“It's alright Luna. 당신 did as commanded. Becca, 당신 may come out now.”
“Whatever for?”
“You were out in the world for several years. See if 당신 can identify them.”
Becca nodded and followed her mother into the 왕좌, 왕위 room where she saw the prisoners.
