”Kaldur, we aren't being followed anymore.”
“Are 당신 sure?”
“Yeah. They just rode past us.”
“Okay. We should meet back up. Our mission needs to be finished.”
“Batman said Roy was coming,” Robin interrupted. “He'll be here later.”
“Affirmative.”

Jade stopped her bike, Alisa and Rylan following. Jade looked at the guards surrounding the base. Then her eyes went to Rylan, who nodded. Rylan narrowed her eyes and they turned pupil-less ice blue. Almost immediately afterwards, the guards seemed to freeze in place. Rylan widened her eyes.
“Bodies are in hibernation state, Jade.”
“Perfect. Let's go.”
The trio went up to the base and went over the fence. There, in the center of the base, was a stand. A diamond was placed in the center. Jade walked up to it, taking the precious stone.
“We did all that for a stupid diamond?”
“Course not, Ali. This is powerful. This diamond is the 출처 of the Lights true power.”
“Then hand it over!”
Jade smirked, turning her upper body.
“Young Justice. I'm glad 당신 came. It was so boring until 당신 showed up.”
“Give the diamond up, Huntress. We don't want any trouble.”
Jade moved, walking closer.
“I see my reputation proceeds me. Well, this diamond is mine. The Light took me as a warrior, not a child. They took every ounce of emotion away from me. And taught me revenge. So I'm keeping the diamond. No matter what 당신 say.”
Jade's head suddenly jolted backwards. She brought her head back, blood on the corner of her mouth. Seeing the blood, Rylan freaked.
“Bad 옮기기 speedster! HA!”
Wally dodged her ice blasts, taunting her with bored yawns. Alisa blinded the rest of the team, giving Jade time to recover.
“Yawn. Come on Frost. Show me what 당신 got!” Wally screamed.
“Alright. Try this one on, handsome.”
Rlyan's eyes became orbs of pupil-less blue ice. She held her hands out in front of her, chanting quietly.
“Avere freddo persona nevicare fermata!”
Wally's body slowly began to freeze over, inside and out. Rylan went up to the hibernating body, smirking. She put a hand against the speedster's shoulder.
“Don't mess with my girl!”
“Frost,” Jade called out harshly.
Rylan immediately went over to her friend. Alisa was there, trying to calm Jade down.
“Jade. Are 당신 okay?”
“No. I'm freaking out! Blood...I hear it...sounds enticing...trying to restrain...not working...”
“Jade, take a deep breath. 당신 can do this. Look at me.”
Jade turned her gaze to Rylan. But she saw blood all over. Jade snapped her eyes closed. She wouldn't let it happen. Not now.
