I walked into the lounge and looked for something to drink. Usually, there would be a mini fridge, but these people went all out and have a full kitchen. I found a cup and filled it with ice cold tap water. I pulled out my Tylenol from my 치마 pocket and dropped one in my mouth, then swallowed it whole with a sip of water. I did the same with the 초 one, then slipped the Tylenol back into my pocket. Wow, they really do mean fast acting. My headache was all ready gone. I flexed and realized my muscles didn’t hurt either.
“So, what were those?” A voice asked from behind me. It was the red haired guy who tried to get me alone 의해 showing me to the lounge.
“Pills” I said simply
“For what? Bigger muscles? Enhanced strength? Enhanced speed?” he persisted
“For headaches and muscle pain” I replied flatly
“Excuse me?” his eyes widened
“It was Tylenol. I’ve had a headache since I woke up this morning” I rolled my eyes.
“So, 당신 want a private tour of the HQ?” he asked, changing the subject. My hand rested on my waist where my mace hung. Miss Martian walked in.
“Hey, Hawk Girl! Want a tour?” she called
“Sure!” I agreed. I attempted to fly. I closed my eyes and thought about my wings carrying up. I heard her gasp. I opened my eyes. I was flying. I was so tempted to fly to the red haired boy and kick him in the face, but instead, I flew over to Miss M and we started the tour.
“I can stand on my own two feet when it’s a girl fight, but when it comes to guys, I can’t even 헤로인 them” I muttered to myself
“Pardon?” Miss M asked
“Nothing. Just talking to myself” I said. She showed me the room we entered in, the front and back doors, the zeta beam teleporters, the beach, the infirmary and the room’s where I might be staying. When we returned to the lounge, everyone was different. They were all in normal clothes. Like everyday clothes. Nobody was wearing their uniform. 또는 their masks. I noticed Miss M had also changed. We walked over to the bulk of the group.
“Hawk Girl, this is the team. That’s Kalder, that’s Connor, that Artemis, that’s Robin, 당신 can call me M’gann 또는 Megan and this is-“
“I’m Wally” the red haired boy said with a ‘charming’ smile.
I leaned over to Megan “Is Robin’s name actually Robin?” I asked quietly
“No. Bat’s forbids anyone from knowing his real name. Hence the dark glasses” she explained. I untied my mask and pulled it off my face, revealing my green eyes.
“My name is Alex” I bowed.
