"ANNA!! DID 당신 TAKE MY RED SWEATER?!!" I screamed into the hallway.
Anna stood in the doorway, the phone clutched in her hand. "Ew, why would I take that red sweater?"
I rolled my eyes and looked through my drawers. I could've sworn that I had put that in the laundry.
She sat cross-legged on her bed. "Maybe it's under something."
"Hmm..." I lifted my 침대 up, but nothing was there except for abandoned pieces of paper. "Nothing here..."
Annaliese looked at the clock. "It's almost six o'clock, Jen. You'd better hurry..."
"Shut up!" I snapped. "I'm NOT leaving without that red sweater!"
"Don't 당신 have super speed?" she inquired. "Then 당신 could speed around the room and look for the sweater."
"Now is NOT the time to be a smart-aleck," I threatened.
She raised her hands in caution. "Calm down, little sister. I have a really cute blue sweater that would go perfectly with your outfit." She looked into her drawer and pulled out her sweater.
It wasn't really what I was going for, but it still worked. I hugged her for a second, then let go. "Thanks, Anna. You're the best."
She laughed. "Glad 당신 finally realized that."
I zoomed out of the room and down the stairs, where Chris was helping Victoria with her homework.
My brother raised an eyebrow. "Which restaurant are 당신 going to, exactly?"
I groaned. "I think I'm old enough to take care of myself, thank 당신 very much."
"She's going to that new sushi place that opened up!" Victoria told him. "The 쌀 Bowl!"
That little turd...
Chris smiled. "Thanks Vic." He looked at me. "Be 집 의해 eleven. I'll be calling, so listen for your phone."
I looked at my new watch. "God, I'm late! Bye Chris, bye Vicky!" I ran out the door and into the front yard, when I realized how far the 쌀 Bowl would be.
I looked around, making sure nobody was watching me, then flew upward.
Ever since I'd been injected with Superman's blood, I had gained all of his powers--even his weakness to Kryptonite.
"Woo-hoo!" I yelled into the clouds. I had never regretted going to 별, 스타 Labs that day. My life had gone better 의해 a thousand miles.
Finally, I flew downward in front of the 쌀 Bowl. Luckily, no one was around to see me.
I pushed the door open and found my name in the reservation box.
"Right this way, Madam," he motioned me into the brightly lit restaurant, with Japanese lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and decorative art all over the walls.
I recognized Red 애로우 의해 his red hair. He looked different; he was dressed in a black leather jacket, with a green T-shirt which read "I am SMRT" with a picture of Homer Simpson, but his mask was still on.
I decided to keep the sweater on; I didn't want him to see my tube-topped dress.
"Here 당신 go," said the waiter as he passed out the menus. "Enjoy."
I smiled. "Sorry I was late."
He tapped the table. "Don't be. I spent most of the time flicking pieces of the straw wrapper at that old dude."
I turned around, finding the subject of his sentence, then looked back at him. "Dude...you're bad."
He laughed. "Dude?"
I felt hopeful. "Well, if 당신 would tell me your name, it wouldn't be like that." I squinted my eyes, hopeful that it would work.
He turned his head, making me see his brain. "Oh no, you're not using that X-ray vision thing on me."
I laughed, then stopped. "You're right. I guess it'd be 더 많이 rewarding if 당신 took your mask off for me."
"Not a chance."
What was with him? I felt as if I knew him all my life, but I don't know his name, 또는 even his eye color! I found it easy talking to him; it was like walking on air.
의해 10:30, almost everybody in the restaurant was gone, except for the couple sitting behind us and a few of the workers.
"This one time," he said after we stopped laughing. "Green 애로우 and I were out on patrol, when--" His eyes widened. "LOOK OUT!"
We both leaped out of the booth when a girl in a green suit with a white mask slashed the 표, 테이블 with her knives.
"Cheshire," Red 애로우 realized.
"Awww, 당신 remembered my name," Cheshire said slyly. She leaped into the air, launching at me with her knives pointed down.
"Air!" I yelled, sending her to the ceiling.
Red 애로우 took my hand. "We have to lead her away from the people!" We started running out of the restaurant, when a helicopter appeared in front of us.
I tapped my chest. "Nightfury!" And my dress and sweater turned into my supersuit.
I took Red 애로우 의해 the hand and started flying away from the city. When I looked back, Cheshire was 로딩 into the helicopter that was following us.
"Look out!" Red 애로우 yelled, pointing in front of us.
"Keep your head down!" I screamed, before crashing into the billboard sign for Britney Spear's "Candies" clothing line.
Finally, we had reached the ocean, where I steadied a little island for Red 애로우 to stand on. I went back to the helicopter, determined to crash into it.
But suddenly, a huge wave a Kryptonite waves shot out of it, sending me to the island with Red Arrow.
He pulled out his bow and arrow, and shot, but the wave also blocked that.
Cheshire jumped out of the helicopter and landed on me, with her knives on both sides of my face.
"Gotcha." I could hear the smile in her voice.
I felt like I was getting acupunctured on my cheeks.
"No!" Red 애로우 yelled before pushing her into the water.
He looked at me frantically. "We have to leave before they send another Kryptonite wave!"
"Right..." I held him 의해 the waist, and we flew away, faster than a speeding bullet.

But I couldn't help but feel afraid about why someone was hired to assassinate me.
