When Nye awoke, he found himself in his 침대 with Jennifer sitting beside him, holding his hand. She looked at him relived.

"Oh thank God," she breathed out. Nye took his hand and pushed a piece of her long dark brown hair behind her ear. She smiled at him.

"Alright," he said, shifting his position in the bed, "I need to go find some answers."

A little later in the day, Nye was racking his brain, trying hard to remember what happened in his seen future. A man? No, a girl held the gun. Was her hair brown? 또는 maybe it was black. But there was definitely a gun in her hand, along with some blood....

She heard a crash, a loud one. She groaned and pulled the covers over her head. But when the computer announced Batman's arrival, she jumped out of 침대 and into the closet. We didn't have training today. Were we supposed to get a mission? She stepped out of her room, ready for action, like most of the others who had slept in on their 일 off. Blade yawned before heading into the mission room. She saw not only Batman, but also Zatanna, and a few other JLA members. Okay. Not a mission.
“Devin's gone missing,” A voice whispered in her ear.

Ivara opened the door slowly. She hesitated then, wondering if her task was just. The woman-- My mother continues smiling, shakes her head, takes a 좌석 on the couch. Rests those summer-rain irises on me, takes in my shock, confusion, the volume of 질문 written across my expression.
"My God," she breaths, "My little girl's all grown up."
