Alex sat on the bed, letting her injured wing hand off the side, mindlessly rubbing her arms as she listened to her husband chatter away but not processing anything he said. "Alex?" The blonde shifted her eyes when her name was said. "Sorry, Jack.." She attempted to give him a reassuring smile but it ended in failure as her bottom lip quivered. "When is Daddy coming back..?" He asked, eyes not leaving the hologram. "Is he up there because he's a hero?" He asked, not giving Chris enough time to respond to his first question. "Yes, that's why he's there." He gave his nephew a small smile, raising a brow when Jaime got up. "Does that mean I'm gonna be one too? Since I have wings like Daddy?!" Jaime looked at his uncle in curiosity before he was given a silent nod. The toddler soon began running around the area, giggling and laughing and chanting: "Daddy's a hero!" The older male chuckled, taking in whatever innocence the child had left. His attention however was shifted when Trystan entered the room. "Hey, holding up okay?" Trystan asked, earning a shrug. "Been better." Chris replied with a shrug. "How'd 당신 get him in here..?" Trystan asked in a confused manner, watching Jaime. "I have my ways. Decided Devin needed a break from him.. Give her some alone time." Both looked over when Scotty entered the room. The 여우 had a blanket wrapped around him, looking over at the hologram with a frown. Jaime smiled happily and ran over to the fox, hugging onto his legs before he was picked up. Scott ruffled the dark locks, resting his cheek on the toddler's head, rocking Jaime, who had already began falling asleep in his arms.
