It was the afternoon and Daniel had just gotten home.
He had noticed his little sister Lily sitting at the coffee 표, 테이블 in the livingroom staring at a picture sadly,so he walked over to her and patted her on her head making her little blonde braids bounce.
"Why the long face Lil?"Daniel sat 다음 to her
"Because I want to know who this wittle girl is,but I can't find out"
Daniel instantly recognized her."Story time!"
"Yay!Ilove story time!"The little blonde then hopped into his lap

"Okay,so before my mommy died she had a little girl.Her name was Mary...and,well she was my baby sister.A little while after my mommy died when I was 8, Mary was kidnapped she was only 5.I swore to find her,but i've never been able too."

Tears started to run down his face,he tried to hold them back,but he couldn't. "Don't cry Danwel"Lily looked at him sadly.He smiled wanting to laugh at her mispronouncing his name.He then picked her up and held her tiny body into his arms."Lily,I promise 당신 I'll never let what happened to her happen to you.I 사랑 당신 so much baby sis.It was my fault for what happened to her that day."Daniel held her tighter,and kissed her forehead."You can't blame yourself Daniel."Lily told him hoping it would sink in,"Well look at that 당신 pronounced my name right.My little Lily's growing up."he then gave her a big hug."*Yawn!*"the little blonde Yawned,and so Daniel put her in 침대 for a nap.

Flashback to the 일 of the kidnapping
"Daniel!I need you!" Daniel's dad had just called him."I'm coming!"he yelled as he came running down the stairs."Yeah dad"he said as he tried flipping his hair out of his eyes."My goodness son I almost mistook 당신 for cousin "It".I think it's time 당신 get a hair cut."his father took a pair of scissors and tried to cut his bangs the best he could."There we go that'll do for now your stepmom wants to see you."he pointed towards the kitchen.Daniel then ran into the 부엌, 주방 and swiped a cookie off the counter."You wanted to see me?"he said as he ate the cookie."Well for one thing 당신 could stop talking with your mouth full,it's really disgusting,and 초 I need 당신 too help your sister because I'm trying to cook."she said as she was icing a cake."Sure thing Alexandria."he agreed to help and went to help Mary with her 할로윈 costume.Alexandria had an upsetting look on her face,as Daniel's father Nikolev walked into the kitchen.He walked up to her and said''He'll come around Alex,Don't worry." While in the mean time Daniel was trying to brush out his sisters hair."Your hair is too curly!"he pulled on the brush forcing it out of her hair"Ow! Don't pull on it so hard!"Mary cried"Sorry sis,but your hair is so knotted that it's hard for me not to."he said and finally put it up in a ponytail. He then helped her fix up her cat costume."Are 당신 excited to go trick 또는 treating? " Daniel asked,"Yeah!"Mary smiled brightly "Good".

Later on that night
"Kids!Time to go!" Daniel's step mom yelled for the kids and they came.Daniel was dressed up as a magician and Mary was a cat. "You both look very cute.Are 당신 ready for trick 또는 treating?" She asked them"Yeah!"They both said super excited. So, they went off trick 또는 treating "You having fun sis?" Daniel asked Mary,"Yeah!"She smiled brightly. "Good!" Then it happened."Ooh let's go up too that really scary house!" Daniel got excited,"Unuh!I am not going up there.No one else is."Mary refused, "Oh come on.I bet they have the best candy." Daniel persuaded her,"Hmmm,Okay!"she agreed, "That's a girl!" He got excited. So,they ran up to the house and knocked on the door.Nobody answered.Daniel then opened the door and walked in."Hello?!"he hollared,"Daniel we're not supposed to walk into other people's houses without permission."Mary walked in behind him,"What if nobody lives here?"he said walking down a dark hallway."Daniel,wait for me!" Mary ran up to him.They kept walking to see if they could find anybody.*Woosh!*"What was that Mary got scared and grabbed Daniel's arm,"I don't know" he looked then as they turned around they saw a tall dark man.""What are 당신 doing in my home?!" The man said with a thick,deep,evil voice."Uh,leaving!" Daniel grabbed Mary and ran. "Come back here!" The man chased after them and threw fireballs. "Whoa!This guy has powers?!" Daniel screamed, "You should use your powers Daniel!" Mary suggested, "I don't know how." Daniel said running even faster,"Argh!"the evil man got closer. Daniel then ran crashing out a window and accidentally dropped Mary."Daniel" "Mary!"The evil man the swooped in and caught Mary.He then vanished leaving Daniel in tears.

Back to the present
" I'll find 당신 Mary.No matter what it takes.I promise."His teardrops fell onto the picture,and he put it down.He then realized something,and went to check on Lily."Good,she's still there."
