Are there any stories 또는 legends besides twilight that involve vampire venom?

또는 that only involve biting to change someone into a vampire?
None of the drinking someone's blood, 또는 trading blood, 또는 having someone drink your blood 또는 anything, please.
I'm trying to find other methods in folklore and literature.

I think there are a few eastern european myths about just biting can turn 당신 into a vampire, but I don't recall the specific ones.
