I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Supergirl’: Who Will Play Superman? — Season 2 Casting Ideas, 사진 | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
He\'d need a dye job before anyone yells "action," but come on, isn\'t McPartlin just as likable as you\'d expect Superman to be? (As a bonus, his casting would get him back into the same universe as fellow Chuck vet Brandon Routh… who also played Superman.)
Not only was Bomer among the most suggested names from TVLine readers, but the former White Collar star has already proven he can play the Man of Steel in an overseas Toyota commercial that\'s well worth your time. (No, seriously, click here and thank us later.)
And speaking of Magic Mike stars, why not give Joe Manganiello (True Blood) a crack at the role? At the very least, you know he could fill out the suit.
Now that Dalton\'s time on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has (officially) come to an end, who wouldn\'t love to see him make the switch from Marvel to D.C.?
You didn\'t think we could do this list without including The CW\'s original Superman, did you? Sure, Smallville\'s backstory for Clark doesn\'t exactly gel with Supergirl\'s, but be honest: Do you really care?
We\'d just have to make sure Welling\'s Superman never encounters Indigo (played by Laura Vandervoort, aka Smallville\'s Kara) or else the universe might straight-up collapse.
In addition to looking the part — seriously, just imagine Harding dramatically swiping a pair of glasses off that face — we also know the Pretty Little Liars star can handle playing a character with an important secret. (Dun, dun, dun!)
At 28, Hoechlin may be one of the youngest actors featured in our list, but his work on MTV\'s Teen Wolf proved him more than capable of playing a supernatural mentor. Also, there\'s this.
The Covert Affairs alum might not be the most obvious choice to play Superman, but consider this: (1) The guy is jacked, and (2) he could totally be related to nerd-cute Kara.
From The Carrie Diaries (Adam) to The Vampire Diaries (Kai) to Containment (Jake), Wood has never met a CW role he couldn\'t crush. And with his limited series now coming to an end, why not keep him in the family?
Not only could the American Horror Story star use some good TV karma after leaving that trail of bodies in his wake, but we also know he does some of his best work while wearing undies. (This time on the outside of his pants!)
