DO NOT skip through the book to the part where Edward is involved again. If you do, you'll miss out on a lot of important stuff between Bella and Jacob that you need to read for Eclipse to make sense.

Ugh. Look, I hate Jacob as much as the next person, but you really should NOT skip any part of any book EVER. You may miss something important (as is the case with New Moon) or skip some mood or feeling that the author was trying to get across. Now what if you found out, by reading all of New Moon and not skipping, that... oh, I don't know, JACOB'S A WEREWOLF AND IS IN A WEREWOLF PACK THAT HATES ALL VAMPIRES, BUT HAS A TREATY WITH THE CULLENS BECAUSE THE CULLENS ARE "VEGETARIANS". And you missed that. Then what?
