Harry Potter's cool, but compared to Twilight it looks pathetic! Twilight is awesoem and amazing! Harry Potter can never touch Twlight.

I agree with Cowgirl. My co-workers used to make fun of how frequently I reread the Harry Potter series... now they are threatening to take away my Twilight book!

I love them both... but I love them for different reasons. I grew up with Harry Potter so I will always love those books and they'll always be on my top list, but Twilight speaks to me in a deeper way. I'm much more connected to the characters in Twilight.

I like them both. If you asked which author I liked better it would totally be Stephenie. J.K. Rowling is a beyoch! I want her to get hit by a bus. Her series is over, so might as well. Funny thing, Stephenies big series is Twilight, but she's writing other things. J.K. Rowling is not talented enough to write anything else. Harry Potter is like a terrific one hit wonder.

I'm sorry all harry potter fans, nut I've read the books and i don't really like them, even thought the movies aren't bad but twilight the books were AMAZING and the way the behind the scenes shots of the movie is going it looks like that is going to be just as great

Sorry, Harry Potter has always been my first and number one obesession. NOTHING will ever beat it. And I know different people have different opinions and ideas, but looking at the majority, people are a lot more crazy about Harry Potter than Twilight. But I still love Twilight, don't get me wrong! I'm actually obsessed with both, I just can't ever say that something is better than Harry Potter.
and shortynme- If you think J.K. Rowling should get hit by a bus.... ummm.... ok, that's your opinon. But I think it's unfair to say that J.K. Rowling is not talented enough to write anything else. How do you know? First of all, J.K. Rowling is writing other things. They haven't been published yet because the Harry Potter books take more than a year to write, as they're much bigger than the Twilight books so obviously she's been busy. And second of all, you couldn't have possibly read anything else she's written since it hasn't been published yet, so it's not right to judge before you have.

Rowling pissed me off so much with that crap, she calles Harry Potter book 7! I like Twilight better then book 5 and 7 of the Harry Potter series.

Please don't beat me up! *cowers* but i mean Harry Potter and Twilight have different appeals to me. One is Wizards fighting for a better world - No beautiful vampires to sweep my heart away! adn its aimed for a different audience. While Twilight is something that i can read and feel in love with something, i mean Harry Potter (as a character)is not pitched as a good looking kid - hes a kid someone i grew up with you can not fall in love with. Does this make sense at all? I mean i LOVE twilight but its ONE of my fav books along with Harry Potter and my fav books change on what my mood is but Twilight is always up there in the top! lol :P Sorry if this does not make sense! :P

Nope. Harry Potter has always and will always rock harder than Twilight. The writing and characters (except a select few) cannot compare.

Harry potter will ALWAYS be better than twilight. i snort in laughter at those who say HP cant touch twilight. HP touched, ran by and sprinted PAST twilight. Twilight is a romance novel. It will never compare to the morals and epic series that is HP. You know what? heres the thing. if HP sells more in the boxoffice this year than twilight, you twilights need to hush okay? if twilight kicks hp's ass, (highly doubtful) then i wont say anymore. but if hp wins, you guys will just have to deal with it. the fact that hp is, has been and always WILL be better than twilight.

I love both. I am a loyal fan of BOTH. I do not appreciate one more than the other. Asking me to choose between The Twilight Saga and The Harry Potter novels is like asking an objective parent to pick their favorite perfect child! It's just not possible to pick! They've BOTH made a sensational and culturally significant impact on our modern society, so why should any of the two sagas be belittled or compared to one another? It makes no sense. Both Twilight AND Harry Potter are significant and, in a sense, vital to our culture, therefore they aren't and really shouldn't be compared.
