트와일라잇 시리즈 Has anyone else noticed the difference between the First Twilight and all the others, that the First Twilight had a light blue tint/overtone color to the film?

That's a Catherine thing. She does that with all her movies.

All the films have all been in a certain tint.
Twilight - blue
New Moon - gold
Eclipse - gray
Breaking Dawn Part 1 - red
Breaking Dawn Part 2 - yellow

You are all right. I realize it is the Producer who decides the "lighting", "effects", and even the color of lense to film a movie in. That's why "Soap Opera's" seem more "real life" than a typicaly movie. They use different film and cameras for such effects.

And Nessie, you have really made my jaw drop! I believe you just "might be" right on all 5 Movies. But I guess it was Twilight that seemed to haves "stood out" the most. Even the whole ambiance of the movie was "eerily" directed. Even "The Cullens" AND "Edward" are FAR different looking today, than in the First Twilight. I believe Edward had "more hair" on top of his head.... I think they ALL had more hair in the First Twilight.

My Question was just a "point-blank" Question. I was just wondering if others saw that "blue overtone" to that film too. I guess most had noticed.

In fact, I wish they would have had the SAME Director for EACH BOOK, so to stay with the times, theme, and ambiance that made the First Film so Thrilling. The "only" other Twilight Film, that comes a bit close to the First Twilight, is "Eclipse." Eclipse ROCKED! It was "almost" as exciting as the First film.

I felt New Moon was TOO LONG & BORING for the WHOLE FIRST HOUR or so. Though I realize they were emphasizing on how the book was... did they REALLY HAVE TO TAKE A WHOLE BORING HOUR to show us HOW Depressed Bella was?? I think that was a "bit" overstated. I "got" her mood as soon as she laid down in the middle of the deep forest to sleep. THAT sufficed "me." And that is just "my opinion." I wish New Moon would have concentrated MORE on the Volturi aspect, than what they had. Too much Film "wasted" on Bella's Depression, which drove me so NUTS, that I "truly & almost" walked out of that Theater right there and then.

But, THAT Directed did what they felt was the best... "in a way", because "ULTIMATELY" The REAL Direction ALWAYS CAME FROM STEPHENIE! Every Producer was NOT "fully" in charge of the way the Film was to play out in "that" Director's mind. Instead, they had to heavily rely on Stephenie Meyer, in order to move forward with any of the films. I would "bet" that Stephenie became more of a "pain-in-the-ass" to each Director, as the Story unfolded.

I think that Stephenie got her nose in it TOO DEEPLY with Breaking Dawn. I really do. And low & behold, there the "maniac" is standing with a flowered print dress on at Bella's Wedding, smiling so BIG, you couldn't miss her if you even tried! She was DEAD CENTER and in FULL VIEW. And I do know what Stephenie had to say about that, but DID she actually "have to be" SO IN VIEW??? OMG! I felt truly embarrassed for her, because I felt that she was in this thing WAY OVER HER HEAD! WOW!

She should have been in with the Guests, but not necessarily in FULL FRONT & CENTER. Good GRIEF! It would have served her purpose "better" had she been just place within the guests. That anyone wanting to look for her, could & would see her, but more as a behind the crowd kind of way, you know what I mean? It would have served her purpose better to have been a bit more hidden away, than just in full view focus. It was almost like eating TOO MUCH of the Cake's sweet frosting!

BUT, these are "just my opinions" and "not" necessarily how it "should have" went, and that is quite apparent, for who would actually listen to me anyway? It's just a point of view. That is all.

Thanks for ALL the Comments, and Nessie, WOW! Your Comment BLEW ME AWAY! THANK YOU FOR SUCH INSIGHT!!!!!!!! :D

With Love & Hugs always,

Juliet
